I wonder if Bledsoe has made a trade request or if he's been told the team is looking to trade him because he's just phoning it in at this point. Not having Ulis hurts with Bledsoe playing so bad. At least Mike James plays like he wants to be here. I think Chandler is also playing with little to no effort, just collecting paychecks at this point. If that's the leadership these "veterans" provide then they need to be sent packing. Watson needs to be firm and send a message by benching players who aren't giving full effort on both sides of the ball, regardless of their contract, history, etc.

Another reason you're huffing ether if you think Bledsoe can garner the Brooklyn pick.

Why is Ulis the third PG off the bench? He's the only guy on this roster that can actually play like a true PG.

I thought Ulis was injured? Good to see him enter the game though but I would have preferred to see Peters come in instead of playing a hobbled Ulis with Mike James.

I’m not feeling these white jerseys. Trim makes it look like Knick colors in reverse.

I'd rather see Ulis at PG. At least he knows how to run an offense.

Ulis had off season ankle surgery and still seems out of sync. However, he is the best choice at PG if he is healthy.

Final:

Clippers 130 Suns 88

The Suns lose by 42 points and I think the Clippers were coasting.

That is why Watson should be fired. That is ridiculous. We can't even score in garbage time.

Watson post game: Let's not talk about the firing of the coaches or the assistant.... We only have one rule on this team!

Yup. Opposing teams can't go deep enough into their bench to stop the bleeding.

Its only a ploy. Bad start so as to show improvement. Sorry pokerface Suns will win some games.

I don't know. This is looking like a "Death Tank Spiral" the likes of which we haven't seen.

Does that mean that the Suns starting the season looking like the worst team in history is about justifying your position?

Even if you had used a smiley face, that's depressing. Without one, you are literally admitting that, no matter how inept the Suns have become, it's all about you.

Losing begets losing. Obviously.
It isn't too late for you to leave the Dark Side, pokerface, and admit that the plan has backfired. We'll welcome you to The Force :titanic:

The problem is even if PHX goes 0-82 (sadly seems possible) the rules changes so they could logically end up picking 3rd as the worst 3 teams have an equal shot at the top pick. So this poor excuse of an NBA team could be losing for nothing. Again, this is not tanking, PHX is legitimately this bad. I know everyone is hoping we draft a PG with our top pick but we need a legit NBA PF so I hope we have a shot at Bagley because Chriss is looking more like he will be out of the league in 3 years than a legit NBA PF. I still think he should be moved to SF, even with added weight he still can't hold his own in the paint. Three of his 4 FG made in 3 games (pitiful) have been 3PT so he seems to be having better luck on the perimeter.

The rule change goes into effect during the 2019 lottery, not this upcoming draft.

I agree with your views on Chriss, I'm not sure he's a SF anymore though but I thought that last season and every time I mentioned it here someone jumped all over that idea. People are holding out hope he's not the second coming of Amare with his athleticism but he has a very low BB-IQ. He doesn't have the toughness or explosiveness to score over anyone like Amare could. Amare wasn't great in the post but he had a couple of go-to moves meanwhile Chriss has no post moves that he's shown. Athleticism is virtually all Chriss has going for him. If he's the second coming of anyone it's Hakim Warrick but with the attitude of a Morrii.

Can tanking talk be kept out of game threads until 2018, please? I'm not trying to tell anyone where they can post what but isn't it a bit early to be celebrating losses? We've been bad long enough we don't really have any rivals but I don't think Lakers or Spurs fans enjoy seeing us lose like we are.

I don't think ex-players or coaches enjoy it either. I know the Morris brothers hate the Suns, Dragic doesn't like us, and Hornacek probably isn't fond of how he was fired but I doubt any of them wish losses on us like we've experienced so far. This isn't tanking it's getting throttled.
