Sigh all you want.

There is nothing clear.

You're missing what the Suns need. Just like last year.

Right now the Suns need a rotation that will work together.

That EXCLUDES Eric Bledsoe. He's all for himself.

Give me George Hill. Pop loved him for his love of TEAM!

Make it so Ryan!

You keep saying this but what's it based on? It certainly can't be based on his performance last year because he clearly made us better and his teammates loved him. And it can't be based on the offseason because we don't really know a darned thing. Lots of rumors, lots of speculation but all we really know is he's not yet signed. Given that we're nowhere close to a deadline yet, I don't see the problem.

Where did he clearly makes the Suns better Steve?

The Suns pretty much sucked when he was running the show. Go look at the data. A lot of articles were written about it. You're just ignoring them.

Yes, the Suns were good when Dragic and Bledsoe were together. But that's on Dragic, not Bledsoe.

If you can't tell what going on with Bledsoe this offseason, that's your problem. I won't be deceived by his shenanigans.

you wanted the Suns to give up multiple first round picks for a guy who was injured and ended up being injured and put on the shelf for the last ten games of the season... and had no desire to ever play here after his contract was up.

Right now the Suns need a rotation that will work together.

the rotation that EXCLUDED Bledsoe last year DIDN'T work together. It was barely .500. The rotation that did include him was on pace for 54 wins.

Give me George Hill. Pop loved him for his love of TEAM!

loved him so much that he traded him first chance he got.

Please stop including Goodwin in the "glut of guards" until he is actually an NBA level player.

Well, my pt. is that come the 2015-16 season, there will be a "glut of guards" where a trade would probably be needed. How is that controversial? By his 3rd season, given the potential he flashed his 1st year, it should be "expected" for him to be a contributor ... I didn't say it's a fact, but that should be the expectation for him - So at that pt. it would be "glut of guards" who needs PT

Do you really expect the Suns to go into the 2015-16 season w/ Thomas, Dragic, Bledsoe, Green, Ennis, and Goodwin all on the roster? ... If your answer is "No ... That is too many players worthy of PT", then you agree that there will be a "glut of guards"

Yes, I do like players that were recently top 10 players (ie, they're older), especially when I have the best sports medicine team in the world.

I assume you like Tyler ennis and some Euro you have no idea about. (BTW, I do.)

You haven't a clue if he wanted to play here next year or not. It's but one of the many things.

1. He's not healthy. He's coming off a season in which he missed 40 games. Sure there's a chance he's not healthy next yr., but Bledsoe's "value" is more likely to increase than decrease come next offseason in my opinion
2. I am assuming the Suns can strike a deal for about 12 million / yr. ... Trading him now is MUCH harder because he would only want to be traded IF he can get more than that ... A team will more likely want to trade for Bledsoe next offseason when he's making 12 million/yr. than strike a deal w/ him THIS offseason for close to MAX
3. The positive of doing it next offseason is ... we have him for 1 more season! I'm not sure if Ennis/Goodwin are ready yet to play major roles - They'll be better prepared to play more next yr.

Those are all valid points. To me the risk that Bledsoe gets hurt again and becomes untradeable outweigh them, but it could be argued either way.

Just wondering, what older player are you guys referring to?

For the record, my opinion of his demeanor, body language, and reading between the lines, shows me that Bledsoe does not want to be here, and if someone doesn't want to be here, they can keep it moving. Assets please!

Yup, traded him for Kawai Leonard. Got any other dumb arguments?

Like I said, if George Hill is OK in Pop's eyes, I'll take him.

Pau Gasol.

Watch what he does next year.

The Suns lost him for Tyler Ennis and some f*ck in Europe people have never heard of.

Pau Gasol wasn't "recently" a top 10 player in the world. That was 3 years ago (which is an eternity in the NBA) that he was a 2nd Team All Nba player and he's been declining and injury prone ever since.

I assume you like Tyler ennis and some Euro you have no idea about. (BTW, I do.)

Your assumptions are about as off-base as your ability to judge talent, how contracts are negotiated and ideas on trade possibilities.

You haven't a clue if he wanted to play here next year or not. It's but one of the many things.

It's one of the things that was WIDELY reported...and he didn't even give us a sniff in FA.

Traded him for a mid round draft pick who ended up turning into a good player. Still means Pop would have rather taken a risk on a young guy who had proved nothing over keeping a guy "he loved".

No, I don't expect that Archie Goodwin will ever be an NBA player worth caring about. Sorry. He's not "on the roster" as far as Im concerned.

That didn't happen. Maybe you can make the case that we called on him to do more during those minutes but his time on the court stayed pretty even throughout the season.

Steve

I didn't look it up I just remember that he was really run down and beat up. He definitely had to do a lot more with Bledsoe out.

Ah, Cheesebeef.

I love it!

Dude. Keep up your conceit. Magnificent!

Just don't go back and look at your track record.

Deflating.

Sorry. I have.

I'm glad for fools like you.

You make betting so much easier!

Could be one if the dumber things I've seen here.

Maybe not?

Uncertain? It's up there.

Dude, whoaaa!

Really? The kid is 19 years old with crazy speed and athleticism, and you are ready to declare him a bust? Don't you think that may be a bit premature?

Nope, not at all.

I'm good at talent evaluation.

I don't think the Suns care about what you think. As I said, he will be a very good NBA player some day.

It really doesn't matter what the Suns think.

Last year Jeff Hornacek said that Goodwin would be able to contribute right away. I laughed at that. I said he should be in the D league. Who was more accurate?

I could certainly be wrong. So could you. The odds are clearly in my favor.
