Diaw makes some bad passing decisions when he has the ball in his hand for two long.

Can anyone tell me if this lineup is correct?

1-Nash
2-Giricek
3-Diaw
4-Stoudemire
5-Shaq

Also, to anyone who is watching tonight's game, Diaw was the center out there for some time right? I doesn't Mike bring in Skinner, who is more of a center?

STAT plays center when Shaq sits.

It starts:
1-Nash
2-Bell (LB tonight)
3-Hill
4-Stoudemire
5-Shaq

Then
1-Nash
2-LB
3-Gears (or Hill)
4-Diaw
5-STAT

Or
1-LB
2-Bell
3-Gears (or Hill)
4-Diaw
5-Shaq

Or:
1-Nash
2-LB
3-Gears
4-Stoudemire
5-Shaq

I knew Smare plays center when Shaq is out, but tonight it seemed Boris was more in the paint than Amare for minutes at a time, so I assumed he was the center for some time being.

when both shaq and amare are on the bench, diaw is the center. pretty simple.

I know that, I was just telling the other guy with all his lineups having as the 3.

he forgot to list the more common lineup of

Barbosa
Gears
Hill
Diaw
Amare

or

Barbosa
Gears
Hill
Diaw
Shaq

I apologize if this has been a annoyance to anyone. If I have a question, I ask. I am always like that. Plus you can't fault a guy for trying to learn this team....

It seemed Amare played more on the blocks than in the paint at times with him and Boris in. And Boris happened to be in the paint more at times as well...

hmm, i didn't really notice this so i can't give you a definite answer. Maybe because amare is a far better jump shooter, while diaw is a better passer when he is down in the paint.

When Diaw is in with our small ball lineup, there are times where he will play 'point center' on offense. He will be in the high post and, when he feels like it, can facilitate and playmake very well, which allows Amare to set up for his dominance.

Coincedentally, Diaw tends to be a better post defender than Amare in short spans. While he doesnt have the size to be a legit center, it allows Amare to execute his more effective help defense (blocks) and keeps him out of foul trouble longer.

I know this is just basically the bench, but can anyone tell me if I am right on this lineup?

1-DJ
2-LB
3-Pike
4-Skinner
5-Marks

I am not positive about it, because I know both DJ and LB switched positions on a couple of possessions, as well as the 3-4-5. My reasoning is I know Skinner and Marks are a f/c, but Pike is solely a forward right? I have it like that because I saw Marks in the paint the most, Skinner out more as well as Pike. I said Skinner is the 4 because quite frankly he doesn’t look like a 3, but neither does Pike really…

I know it was a blowout and just the bench playing to end the game, but I want to know…for my own sake.

The Suns this offseason should go hard after a competent backup PG.
