That jumper at 2:25 is night and day from the start of the season.

That shot Jackson made right before the half looked almost like a short jumper when it was actually a 3 point shot. Wow. Does he cover ground or what.

If the worst thing you can criticize about our new Point Guard is his hair . . . I guess we have a good Point Guard going forward.

Which means we can concentrate on drafting a Center. And, BTW, I couldn't care less if he has a purple Mohawk. :)

I’d prefer the purple Mohawk.

Was going to say the same thing as Ouchie.

I don't buy the complaint that it effects his game much, if at all. I thought that might be an issue at first but after watching him I just don't see how it could effect him much if at all. He's accustomed to it. If you made Booker play with hair like that in the next game he'd have issues but Payton has been playing in the NBA for 4 years now and his hair has been like that the whole time. I think people use the complaint about it effecting his game as backup as to why he NEEDS to cut his hair rather than they'd prefer him to cut it.

It was always unrealistic for people to think the Suns would lose out. This was a decent win to snap their losing streak and it's one of the games people thought they might win and so long as they don't win any of the games against better teams I think they'll be fine as far as draft positioning. It's now time to start another 10 game losing streak.

Umm...he can't see the hoop without tilting his head. That's not voodoo science...I thought it's common sense??

Yeah he needs to cut it AND I prefer he cuts it.

:biglaugh:

A big part of that losing streak was due to Booker being out. Now he's playing big minutes. Let's see how that works out for our draft.

Get over yourself. If this was an issue as you say, why wouldn’t the coaches, or anyone in the organization (who by the way probably knows more about NBA basketball than all of us) actually, you know, TELL him to get a haircut? This conspiracy crap is bordering on ludicrous. No, actually, it’s FIRMLY within the borders of ludicrous.

They don't say anything because he's a good player. But if they had their preferences....

Please. That is one of the most ridiculous statements on this board.

He’s playing well, so I guess that means the hair DOESN’T affect his game, right? Or are you saying he’d be John Stockton, IF ONLY HE’D CUT HIS DARN HAIR!!

Then why didn't the Magic try to get him to cut his hair before trading him for a mid 2nd round pick? He wasn't playing that well there or they wouldn't have given him up. Or do you think they traded him because he refused to cut his hair?

Yeah I'm sure teams prefer their players to wear the equivalent of baseball hats on their heads.

Are you kidding me? Have you seen how he shoots FTs? He shoots the ball from the side of his head because HIS HAIR IS IN THE WAY! <\Kinison>

I thought it was obvious his hair gets in the way sometimes...how can it not? But according to some on here we are the problem for thinking there could be a problem?

Is this one of those "pick your own facts" tests?

Actually that’s a faulty argument, Chap. We don’t know if his game would be better. It’s possible he’s playing well now but if he cut his hair he could be playing VERY well. We honestly don’t know. And the only way we COULD know is if he cut his hair and watched his game for an equivalent amount of time. If the hair threw off even one additional shot a game it would it behoove him to cut it.

Truth is, they might have. We don’t know. I think it’s unlikley but we literally don’t know. You pose the question like you know they didn’t.

I don't think he would have said he planned on cutting it soon if they did ask him to cut it for them. If they did ask though i can see that being an issue that the players organization would raise a stink over so I just can't see it happening.

The fact that you think it's a possibility and the Suns do not speaks volumes, don't you think? Are you really speculating that you know better than professional NBA trainers, players and coaches?

If his hair really was a problem, wouldn't the teams he played for force him to cut it? It's not like he's Lebron James and a big star and can do anything he wants.

It’s a politically correct world. Imagine everyone is afraid to make such a demand. I just can’t believe anyone that WATCHES him believes it does not negatively impact his game. I am mystified there is even a discussion about it.

This board is so argumentative that they take an indefensible position just to put "someone else" in their place. Unreal.

He could test ur hypothesis by simply tying it in a pony tail behind his head.

Nash’s hair was in his face all the time. Didn’t seem to bother him much.
