IDk,

Plumlee was a back up center. Jokic. etc. They somehow play worse on the Suns than previous teams.

Plumlee never had a lot of athleticism and that's diminished with age. Nurkic lost a lot of athleticism due to injury.

The Suns big men are too slow, except for Durant and Oso and neither of those are physical.

Already moved on to baseball. Won’t / Can’t watch this crap show. This team needs a total colonoscopy

This is rock bottom - worse than at any point last season (which was a painful watch). Already one of my least favorite Suns teams ever.

The Christmas game last year was far lower for me. My, already jaded, opinion of Durant has never really recovered.

He's ready to give up at a moments notice and often does... I just think he's not so obvious about it since then.

This season has been so bad I forced myself to forget about 2023 christmas game. That was a low point for sure, that was when I saw the negative that KD brings. Its been nothing but downhill this season starting December.

I truly think with new coaching staff concepts, team comradery started high, everyone played along, good ball movement led to wins. Then KD's style of play has taken over since.

I wonder if Ayton was referring to KD when he was done playing in the Olympics and said something like "best teammates I ever had", I think that was a shot at KD. Because at the time I think he and only Book were the remaining Suns prior to getting traded.

That's interesting and I hadn't thought of that. We all know Booker and Ayton had their own problems but they were more familial in nature. They would fight and make up and fight again. I think Mikal helped keep them from becoming adversaries as well since he was reportedly everyone's best friend.

The timing sort of checks out also as Ayton had a pep in his step until KD actually debuted. I know we had Paul and Booker here but Paul played to make everyone better and Booker was first in the pecking order. Once KD arrived the ball was taken from Paul's hands more and unlike with Booker, it was to create for himself almost exclusively. Ayton finally ended up quitting on the team entirely in the Denver series in which it was clear the team had become KD's and it was clear we weren't a legit contender.

And even with new staff that didn't sway Ayton from wanting out from the Suns.
