Game about to start. Lakers coming off their first loss of the season. Suns haven't beaten the Lakers in LA in quite some time.

Suns down 25-23 after the 1st quarter. Suns shooting 38% with 5/9 3 pointers, Lakers 52% with 2/5 3 pointers.

Suns have committed 3 turnovers, Lakers 6.

Suns have 2 offensive rebounds, Lakers 5.

Suns have hit 2/2 free throws, Lakers have hit 1/3 free throws.

Not a particularly good quarter by the Suns. I think we played better in the last game against them even with it being a back to back.

Nice move by Warrick and a dunk on the offensive rebound of his own missed shot. :)

I seriously am wondering if it's part of the Suns' defensive game plan to allow anybody on the other team to take wide open threes from either corner. Somehow, the Lakers have missed like 5 open 3's from the far corner alone. But, all it's going to take is one guy to see a couple of those go in, and then that basket will start to look a lot bigger for the whole Laker team. If the Suns don't address that - and there's no reason to expect that they will - it could go from a hard-fought back and forth game to a 15 point lead in a matter of minutes.

That offensive foul on Dudley was such a freaking flop which is why the ref who was 2 feet away DIDN'T call it, only to be overruled by the guy who was 30 feet away and didn't even have a clear view of the play.

Must be nice to be the Lakers. >:[

Argh. The defending rebounding is horrible. I hate these volleyball drills. :(

Way too many baskets in the Lakers (32 pts in the paint now). :(

Can we all chip in and buyout Channing Frye? The dude is the worst player I've ever seen on defense...

Great run by the Suns. But I can't watch the game with Frye ...sigh what a utterly useless POS basketball player and he is a multimillionaire..

Suns up 56-53 after the 2nd quarter. :) Suns shooting 50% with 12/20 3 pointers, Lakers 49% with 3/9 3 pointers.

Suns have committed 9 turnovers (Dudley with 3), Lakers 12.

Suns have 5 offensive rebounds, Lakers 11.

Suns have hit 2/3 free throws, Lakers have hit 4/6 free throws.

A lot better offense from the Suns in the 2nd quarter. The pace picked up towards the end and we were raining 3s. :)

I love Grant Hill. The guy has every shot in the book. He's one of the most fundamentally sound basketball players I've ever seen.
