It's confidence. I could really care less if they got confidents. The Suns played the worst game they could and didn't get any calls from the refs and yet still had it tied at 89 with a minute to go. If the Lakers didn't have confidence in their ability before tonight then they are in the wrong business. This series is on now. Suns blew there chance to get the sweep and basically eliminate all the Lakers confidents. The last thing you want to do is give Kobe and Lamar confidents.

Nope, the Suns would be 85-0 were it not for officiating in the mind of beecham.
Lakers wanted it more and their adjustments on the pick and roll were the difference.
Are you trying to say "Confidants"? Because no, I wouldn't want them to have anyone to confide in. That would be horrible, horrible news.

Just finished watching on delay ... I'd say sly fly pretty much nailed it. Jackson played small-ball with three hustling guards, and the Suns were unprepared to take advantage. And even then, they got killed on the glass.
Diaw did his usual sleepwalking routine, except for one stretch of a few minutes in the fourth quarter, Nash looked really uncomfortable with his shot, and Marion was, well, Marion. Considering that the Suns led by 17 at one point, it was a pretty dominant performance by the Lakers for the rest of the game. The Suns need to make some major adjustments for Sunday, or they are in big trouble.
Edit: The officiating was equally bad for both sides. It had nothing to do with the outcome.

I would not be surprised if you win in 5. I just think now the Suns have to worry just a little bit. Game 2 they were throwing alleyoops from half-court ,laughing and having fun. Now they got to worry just a little bit.
Next game is a must win for both teams. If the Suns win it's over,if the Lakers win, then the Suns know there in for a dogfight with the potential to lose the series. Something that was not even thought of before tonight.
A series never starts until the visiting wins on the other team's home court. Cliche, but true.
Right now, everything has fell according to how it should.
The road ahead is brutal. In order for the Lakers to win they have to beat the Suns in either FOUR straight games, or win a game 7 IN Phoenix. Not good odds. I'd love for it to happen, and it was great to see the team come out with the heart they left back in 2006, but that's a huge task and I'm not optimistic. They finally attacked the rim aggressively and didn't try to get in to a running game (like dork Barkley suggested.) That's at least a step in the right direction.

why would they need to beat the suns in 4 straight games? i thought only last year did you need to win 5 times in a series
Actually it's confidence so we were both wrong.

I agree...and Kobe got away with a big one in the closing moments fouling on a shot attempt. But it surely balanced out as there were a lot of either missed calls or calls made that shouldn't have been on both ends.
You said are you trying to say Confidants. That's spelled wrong.
Actually i knew the correct spelling, you just replied long before i could correct it so i did not bother to edit it. I just replied with the correct spelling.I was typing to fast so i made a mistake.
Funny how you did not said that on Tuesday.
You gotta be ****in' kiddin' me.
I really hate to do this 'cause I haven't complained about the refs since a certain Stockton game -- and that was a long, long time ago -- but I have no choice in this case.
Take a look at the board and get back to me. Better yet, watch the pre-show with Jack Nicholson getting a cake. Better still, watch virtually any of Amare's drives toward the basket.
I'm sorry, but fair is fair.
