Phoenix opens the regular season on Wednesday, October 23rd at the Clippers, then play at the Lakers on Friday.

The Suns home opener is against the Mavericks on Saturday, October 26th so it will be on the second night of back-to-back games. This is a tough way to open the regular season.

It's like this every year, I can't believe we're 2 days away from Suns basketball again.

Between preseason, the season, the crazy length of the playoffs, weeks later followed by the draft, free agency and summer league, we basically only have about 10 weeks of the NBA not having real story lines.

This year, tack a few weeks on for the Olympics too.

I like it this way, especially with the Diamondbacks falling short of the playoffs and the Cardinals struggling.

I'm all set in my new Phoenix digs! I have a great picture (very close to South Mountain) and my new HDHomeRun to record OTA. So happy to get the local station now as well as pregame and postgame shows. Let's go!

I'm in Tempe right on the east side of AZ Mills, so pretty close to South Mountain. I seem to get the AZ Family Sports channel a bit better than Channel 3. Both come in good but channel 3 will hiccup occasionally while 44 (I think that's the number) stays consistently good all the way through. I'm not sure of the cause but Channel 3 being a higher definition might be why that hiccups occasionally.

Not sure where you're located but figured I'm the same vicinity and thought I'd give you a heads up in case you encounter the same thing I have. Maybe my cheap antenna plays a role also.

Mike Budenholzer wouldn't offer much in terms of how many minutes the Suns' starters will play in their preseason debut tomorrow, but he did say assuming the guys came out of practice okay, everyone outside of Nurk *should* be available
