The Suns play at the Magic today with a 4PM Arizona start time. Much remains the same for the Suns. Bledsoe appears questionable to play; the same with Len. Turnovers and poor free throw shooting also remain one of the Suns primary nemesis. See Paul Coro article dated 11-23-13 at azcentral for more. The link is below.

There was no indication that Bledsoe was on his way back for Sunday night’s game at Orlando to help their ballhandling and playmaking.

“I did a little moving around and I felt a little better,” Bledsoe said after Saturday afternoon’s practice in Orlando. “It’s definitely making progress. I stepped on the floor and practiced with my team. I’ll just have to see how it feels.”

Asked what has bothered his bruised left shin most, Bledsoe said pushing off on it to walk.He has not even tried running, cutting and jumping. Bledsoe injured the shin a week ago on a collision with P.J. Tucker in practice.

I am ok with the loosing streak. Besides the turnovers still enjoy watching the games.

I understand the way you feel, more lotto balls, but the Suns did beat the Bobcats in their last outing. The Suns are a different team without Bledsoe.

Nikola Vučević looks like an impressive young center.

Indeed! Excellent rebounder, very good shooter, and all sorts of moves in the low post, though not as good with his back to the basket as he is facing up. Pretty slow, not much of a lift, and needs to improve defensively, but the kid is awesome for his age. Best of all, he has 3 years left on a rookie contract, if I remember correctly.

It doesn't look like such a bad trade now for the Magic.

The Suns could do better than Ish Smith as a third PG. He just can't score the ball. Without Dragic and Bledsoe on the court, there is a huge drop off.

Ishmael's career shooting is .361 and .283 from three so even if got back to that level you wouldn't want him shooting much. I wish Hornacek would have he and Goodwin work together in practice and then play them together. Archie is a very good slasher and Ish is quite a good passer so they ought to be able to get something going. Once they have some fairly consistent success at anything their shooting will probably fix itself.

As it is I'm happy with Ish - he does a good job of pushing the ball and running plays. I wince whenever he shoots a jumper though.

Any one remember what happened to that D-League PG that played well for the Suns a few seasons back before he got injured?

To answer my own question, it was Zabian Dowdell. He played fairly well for the Suns off the bench.

Suns win 104-96. Channing Frye's effort was solid tonight upfront.

I think he had some injury issues, which is why the Suns waived him. He signed with a European team, but ended up failing the physical. Not sure what happened to him after that.

I really liked him (as well as big G).

Great game by Dragic tonight.

Indeed Dragic played well tonight.

Dowdell did have some injury issues with the Suns when they waived him. I just wonder why they never looked him up again and whether he ever fully recovered. He would still be only 29.

think Dowdell tore his ACL

I'm not sure what type of injury he had but he was waived by an overseas team in January 2012 but signed by a Russian team in July 2012... as best as I can tell.

I liked Dowdell as a third PG. I wish him well.

It was good to see the Suns finish a game well. Dragic took over to finish off the Magic. Frye also was a big part of the finish. It was nice seeing him take it down low. Also, great games from the Morrii, the Orlando announcers couldn't stop talking about them. Gerald Green is playing the best basketball of his career. Very solid game for him tonight. I keep hearing these Shannon Brown comparisons. Sure, they're both great athletes but Green is a much better basketball player. Good win on the road.

Yeah but they rarely even made an effort to identify which brother until late in the game. Steele would just say, nice shot by Morris or rebound by Morris etc. The least they could do is call them by their number if they can't tell them apart. I did chuckle though when they mentioned that the Orlando coaching staff changed tactics midstream, told them to stop trying to figure out which Morris twin they were guarding and to just go over the top of the pick on each of them. I had never really given any thought to the confusion with defensive game plans where they're concerned.
