Len with two early fouls. The same old story.

Nice to see Archie off the bench before Green, and he delivers with the 40 footer!

That second call against him is one that really confuses me. My understanding of the game it that is clearly a foul but why is it so rarely called when bigs do it to us?

Now is the time to play Archie no matter the outcome. The Suns need to find out if he is a part of their future.

I'm beginning to think it's part of the Suns reputation. They do not get the calls.

So, 5:55 left in the 2nd quarter. We have a total of 29 points.
Somehow, we've gone from Suns basketball running, to a clanking jumpshooting team. Really lame 1st half so far.

We are not a team. You really can't trade away as many players as we did mid-season and still function as a unit. Additionally, we only played good basketball this season when our 3 point guards played well. Now that we are down to just one of those players, we are running a little short on talent. I really don't mind this, I just hate the fact we're not letting the young players get a lot more court time.

You beat me to the punch.

The NBA rewards aggressive play.

Especially during the second half of the season and in the playoffs.

During the first half of the season, they let the pretty teams (like the Suns) entertain.

Then the men take over.

In a nutshell, that explains my frustration rooting for our Suns.

when we foul hard, like Morris on Dragic, suns fans call Morris the douche.

There's a huge difference between aggressive and dirty.

That said, I'm with you. I don't think Kieff's foul was dirty on Dragic.

Think about that. The Morris' are douches because they have acted like douches. To the coaches. To the fans.

Being a tough basketball player, and establishing that reputation with the refs, takes knowing how do it.

Jeff Hornacek does not know how to coach it.

Remember when Cotton Fitzsimmons referred to Horny during his playing days as reminding him of his newspaper boy?

Was it Kyle Macy who was supposed to be such a great All-American kid that he'd stop by and mow the coaches lawn on the weekend?

I've lost faith in Hornacek's coaching but him looking like a newspaper boy when he was a young player has nothing to do with.

I don't remember, but Kyle was certainly of the same image.

The polo shirt uniforms the Suns use now would have looked just right on both of them . . . in a YMCA league.

Is there such a thing as a YMCA league?

How about a YWCA league. :)

Although the Mercury could teach the Suns a thing or two about what it takes to rise to the top of their league.
