Yeah he’s been great.

no minutes for stix again. I think they are trading him.
I have to think that’s in the works. Doesn’t make sense otherwise. If we do, I really hope it’s for someone who can make a really solid impact. Big man depth is something this team has never had and Ayton and McGee have shown tendency to get nicked up throughout their careers.

Mikal was huge in that final stretch. But it won't show on the stat sheet.
Tonight it actually did. He rebounded and assisted on big plays. A stat line of 12/6/8/4 is a stat stuffer’s dream.

It’s maddening. He’s one of those rare players that statistically look good but struggles to pass the eye test.

I think it's just the opposite. When you really watch him, he is everywhere doing all the little things.
He has easily got the worst shot selection of the entire team and he has literally stopped his movement without the basketball that he was so good at last year. How is that the opposite? The guy is shooting 50% and 38% from 3. What in the eye test actually backs that up? I have seen nothing in more than a month outside of a single good game that would back those numbers up and say that his stats don't tell the whole story.

And tonight, outside of that nice 2 minute stretch at the end, he was letting guys, especially Brunson, get by him. We're talking Book Defense from 4 years ago bad. The best thing he did tonight is that he did relatively well when switched onto Porzingis. I still believe in his defense, but it's getting to the point where even his good defense isn't enough to offset how terrible he has been on offense.

Man. I’m so glad one of the teams I root for knows how to show up on National TV. At least in the 2nd half they did!

I love Mikal. And the way this team finishes is so much fun to watch.

Did anyone see that the streaming version of NBA Leage Pass is only $40 right now if you only choose to follow one team? And $50 if you want the entire league?

I just scooped up the $40 version today and I couldn’t be more excited!

I scooped that up back in December for 50 bucks. Best money spent last year considering the return on investment.

As opposed to the 500 I dropped on that Cards humiliation on Monday night where I probably also got Covid for all I know. Worst money I’ve spent and will spend this year, no doubt.

I spent three times that on my two finals tickets for games 3 and 4. I still think it was worth every penny but if we would have lost both by 20 plus points…… I may be a little bitter about it.

Atleast you saw the shortest playoy pick 6 ever. haha

sorry…. That may have been too soon still.:(

As much as I say it was the worst money ever spent, I still had a blast. Got to tailgate with my best friend for the first time in over two years, hung out with Ouchie, his boys, my little bro, another old friend from high school and Daves. Once it was clear we were done (even before that pick six) we started clowning the team just like the old days when we’d watch together at the bar. Was at least a slice of normalcy for six hours. But yeah...

Some interesting facts from AP via ESPN:

The Suns won despite shooting a season-worst 22.2% on 3-pointers (8 for 36), including missing 17 straight in the first half. But they forced a Mavericks team that was second in the NBA averaging 12.4 turnovers into 19 and outscored Dallas 31-7 on points off turnovers.

Paul has an NBA-best 49 career games with double-digit assists and no turnovers.
