Nope, Gambo is correct. The game you are referencing was a Suns win. This was our worst defeat in team history.

Here are our worst losses in team history:

48 points - 10/18/17 - Portland Trail Blazers 124, Phoenix Suns 76
44 points - 04/27/97 - Seattle SuperSonics 122, Phoenix Suns 78 (playoff game)
44 points - 04/02/88 - Seattle SuperSonics 151, Phoenix Suns 107
41 points - 03/10/71 - Atlanta Hawks 139, Phoenix Suns 98
40 points - 02/22/16 - Los Angeles Clippers 124, Phoenix Suns 84
40 points - 04/25/91 - Detroit Pistons 117, Phoenix Suns 77

Is there a reference page for every franchises worst loss? I'd imagine before tonight the Suns' largest loss of 44 points is pretty low compared to most. The Lakers have had 3 worse losses in the last 3 years than that...

Im watching the replay, bledsoe was so god awful, taking horrible shot after shot... i want him traded right away.

He cant play with booker anyway, since he cant catch and shoot defenders sag off him when booker is running pkck and roll. Would the spurs trade dejounte murray for him? I just want him gone.

And it is painful watching our players trying to use chandler as the diver in the pick and roll, hey earl how about using chriss who can catch it and jump over defenders. Chandler was at least trying hard to guard nurkic, but once len is back i dont want to see him either.

Well... I know I had about 20% confidence in Watson prior to tonight, I know it's only one game, but WOW!

The initial starters held their own, after that it was the worst I've seen since Sleazley.

I'm down to probably 5%... tops.

Watson shouldn't have been the coach this year after the ineptitude his displayed all last year. It just boggles the mind that a guy can be a point guard in the league for years and have no clue about putting an offense together. Actually I was more shocked about Hornacek's offense than Watson's because I was sure Horny would be standout coach as far as the Xs & Os. I had lower expectations of Watson and he lived down to them...

It’s time for the team to look competitive. It has enough talent on the roster to challenge for the 8-seed at least. Earl Watson is what’s holding this team back from further development. His players look like they’re playing with blinders on. If Booker and Jackson are to become elite talent and others into solid contributors, the team needs better leadership, and Watson isn’t it. I hope his termination is imminent.

I would hope so as well, but they extended his contract this offseason...

Then shame on McD for buying the BS that Watson is selling. In looking around the league, I'm trying to find a worse coach, and frankly, I don't know of one. I would likely take every coach in the NBA over him, and that's not a joke.

Challenge for the 8th seed lol

We have a team of 18-20 year olds were gonna pick in the top 5 again and everyone should of known that coming in

yeah... we have some young talent, but the West is stacked and that talent we have is still in diapers as far as the NBA is concerned.

This team will likely be awful again... but hopefully only one more of being this bad, getting a MAJOR stud in the draft and dealing Bledsoe and Chandler for future picks is on the horizon.. i hope.

McDonough has done a good job IMO...Watson? Yuck....

part of McD's job... A BIG PART, is finding a good coach. Watson is atrocious and he was given an extension. That doesn't look good for McD, IMO.

I think it's gonna be Bledsoe and Chriss

I seriously doubt Majerle would consider a head coaching job with the Suns after the way he was treated in the job interview process. However, NBA head coaching jobs are hard to come by so who knows.

Here is a link to an article about it.

Yeah I definitely remember this. That's why I wonder if it would ever be able to happen. Can the Suns and Majerle move on from that? Would Majerle even be interested in coming back after trying to build GCU from the ground up?

I think anything is possible but I think Majerle would want a contract that provides him financial stability in terms of dollars and length of contract. I suspect Majerle would want more than a three year contract and a substantial salary. IMO, Sarver may be reticent to do so.

Majarle never had a head coaching job so I'd think he'd just want to get his foot in the door.

I am a huge Majerle fan, but the Suns need to stop hiring coaches with no experience. Pay up for a REAL coach. No more Porters, Hunters, Hornaceks, and Watsons. Enough is enough!

Yeah but what good coach would step foot here?

Is Doug Collins too old? He's a good molder of young talent that's ultimately replaced by someone better.
