This is part of the pains of being so young. Our veterans haven't helped a lot but I think our youngsters were riding too high off of the hot home opening win. They had Thursday and Friday off and then game 2 now, 3 days later. It was too much time to let that win sort of inflate their confidence and they got stung early in this one because of it.



*Edit* I imagine they practiced Thursday & Friday so it wasn't really "off" but practice is a lot different than a game. Insert A.I. meme about practice here...

That's no excuse not to be competitive in the second half, particularly with the veterans.

Sure it has. It hasn't solved every problem but a major part of the nucleus is on the roster now. And it's incredibly young. We'll have a lot of nights like this one but we'll have good nights too. But it takes years to turn kids into seasoned NBA vets.
