Melo & Marion in a war.

Melo went baseline on Marion and posterized him.

It would be nice to see Marion finish strong at the hole like that instead of settlling for the 10-15 footer.

Like EJ has been saying, Marion should be challenging Denver's interior every time he touches the ball.

Eisley had his best game in the first half. The Suns had several shots rim out, but still did pretty well. Cabakapa is finally cutting to the basket.

Marion had a weird first half. His shooting is still awful, but had 12 rebounds.

Casey looked like he may be finding his outside shot. It would make a big deal.

Eisley is like a semi-crappy version of Marbury. He dominates the ball too much but isnt terribly effective with it. He'll hit the occasional jumper, but only if he is open.

PASS PLEASE!

He is playing better than before, almost to the loftly level of "adequate". :D

Is Marion capable of running or finishing a fast break???

He worries me every time he touches the ball.

Nice to watch Marion steal the ball away from JJ on that pass...leading to a turnover.

An entire 4th quarter of the worst backcourt duo in the league.

Eisley and Jacobsen!

And 4 quarters of small ball with Camby going nuts.

It was a tough loss. The Suns played hard and could have won, but some serious mental lapses near the end doomed them.

Would have been nice if Amare were playing.

Howard Eisley is infuriating me right now. Everything about his game that bothered me since he's gotten here was shown in full form tonight. He turns the ball over in extremely stupid ways, he doesn't see wide open players for passes, he isn't a very crisp passer even when he does see the play, and most infuriating of all is this mentality he gets that he is the team's go-to-guy. He shoots the ball WAY too much. I was begging for Barbosa the entire fourth quarter(sure, he turns it over too, but at least he gives the ball to Joe Johnson).

On a side note, though, I can't believe how much I've been yelling at the TV to get the ball to Joe Johnson over the past couple of weeks.

I'm miffed by Marion. Yeah, he got about 30 uncontested rebounds... but his defense sucked. His shot selection sucked. His field goal % sucked. And, his court awareness sucked. Again.

Other than that he played a pretty good game.

What a horribly frustrating 4th quarter. With Joe Johnson on fire, they suddenly stop going to him and start going to Marion, who bricks shots left and right. And I'll now officially join the Casey Jacobson sucks campaign. He is simply not an NBA player.

Blown fast breaks, stupid fouls, lopsided free throw discrepency, and a super hot player getting no touches during the most critical stretch of the game.

i normally dont attack players but i dont like eisley. i hate seeing him in the game almost as much i hated seeing penny in the game. barbosa runs the ball up and then lets the play develop. eisley walks the ball up and then stands around dribling until the shoot clock is almost gone and then tries to make the play himself.

Instead of making the game easy, players start playing out of their boundaries. Marion thinks he's Larry Bird from 25'. Boy, does he need to look into the mirror.

Brain freeze sets in when confronted with adversity. Only winners overcome this.

A lot of Marion's shots went in and out.

But again Marion struggles on the nights he is forced to play PF.

He would catch the ball in close against a 6'10 Camby and get his shot blocked.

And Sly Fly, there are dozens of reasons that don't involve Shawn Marion as to why the Suns lost this game. You seriously need to quit hating.

I will actually say the main reason the Suns lost this game is the 20 FTA discrepency between the teams.

I also think that Googs played very well in his brief minutes and should have gotten more time.

If this was supposed to be the showcase game to make Eisley tradeable, it didn't work.
