Really impressive win, more so than the first game against the Pacers. The Suns had lots of reason to fold - 4th game in 5 nights, inconsistent refs (although I thought it helped the Suns more because of the foul trouble in the first quarter), Pacers mounting a big defensive stand and come back - but fought through it all and played relatively smart ball down the stretch. Green comes in as an unsung hero again when the offense stalled and had a nice mid range jumper and the setup for the Kieff triple.

Extremely impressed.

The Suns with 40 points off the bench, the Pacers 7. Also the Suns are two games above .500 on the road. If the Suns make a trade before the trade deadline, I do not want it to mess with the Suns chemistry. This team is feeling very special.

That bench is crucial! May be the deepest in the league. 10 players deep. Anyone on any given night.

Nice game by Marcus and of course Dragic. All Star! They're real.

Even with the Pacers push to catch up in the 2nd half, after being down 6-4 (I think it was) early on . . . .

The Suns never gave up the lead . . . on the road . . . vs. the team with now the second best record in the NBA (thanks to the Suns).

That is absolutely impressive! Jeff Hornacek is Cotton Fitzsimmons reincarnated.

like seeing Len pulled down 5 boards in only 14 minutes of play.

The Suns 3pt defense was awesome again. Cool description of it in the Grantland article today.

My 3 favorite things about Len right now; he BOXES OUT, he doesn't bite on every fake and he keeps the ball high when he gets it.

I agree. I'll also add that he is tough for a rookie. I love Plumlee, but he is just a nice guy. Len has that "edge" that enforcers have. He is already a Lenforcer.

Having said all that, he needs to stop the finesse crap on offense. Make a move to the rim and throw it down. He makes some silly mistakes, but he is a rookie, so that's expected.

My projections now have the Suns greater than 50% to HC the playoffs.

Make it so!

Hollinger has them projected to finish 7th. I'm sure he'd be interested in the difference between your methodologies, if you condescended to explain them to him.

another great win tonight. i didn't watch the game but saw some highlights on the nba website. a couple of wtf plays/moments when fouls were called, but a win is a win. now if we can only face the blazers and pacers in the playoffs.

Good teams rise above bad calls, tough schedules, or injuries. Tonight they did all three. The Suns are back to can't miss TV. I have watched every game on this road trip and it has been a long time since I said that.

Great win. Definitely the best win of the season to beat the 2nd best team in the NBA on the 2nd night of a back to back while they had a game's rest....that too on their home floor.

Dragic sure played like he was pissed about being snubbed for the AS game.

From the Pacers forum:

NBA.com lists Goran Dragic as a point guard. He should actually be listed as a point god.

PG did good on Dragic in the second half, but too much damage had already been done. That dude just killed us. He should just change his number to 13 because he looked like freaking Steve Nash out there. Nash must have left some magic potion in a bottle when he was traded out before last season. We should have laid some hard fouls on Dragic though. Tough teams with a strong physical defensive identity let opponents know who is boss. We just that guy completely own us.

It's so irritating to see Gerald Green turn into Tracy McGrady, but good for him for getting his career on track. He's playing great basketball for a winning team, something I sure didn't think he was capable of after last year.

Those twins absolutely massacred us.

Lance showed a lot of fire. Hill showed aggression on the offensive end, but Dragic lit us up in the first half. West continued the outstanding offense that he has showed lately. Hibbert was awesome on offense. PG was awful and the bench was downright putrid. I liked Granger's defense, but he just doesn't seem capable of creating his own shot anymore, plus he no longer seems quick enough to routinely get open without the ball. Scola has just been putrid lately.

It's disheartening to get beat by the same team twice in a matter of days. I thought for sure that we'd pay them back at the Fieldhouse. Those clowns shot a combined 19-33 from three in these two games against us. That's an obscene 57.5%
