Look...we have no room for error. This draft is too important and the competition with the other tanking teams is too tight. I don't like this pattern at all. Booker's last last two games were 39 and 41 minutes. Here we are late in the season in exactly the situation we want to be in and it's being messed with...for what??

We've lost 10 in a row... they are not competitive on 9 out of 10 nights, you don't get an extra measure of loss for getting beat by 50. You claim you want competitive loses where our young guys show progression, we get that and you complain that they... what... tried?

This is getting really really stupid. It's like you somehow think they should have lost 15 of their last 10.

Good grief. What are you complaining about? We are losing every game and many by huge margins. Players still need to play and develop.

I believe Booker could use a little break next game against the Griz. It might not matter because Jackson looks like a player with no quit in him.

This idea that losing a lot somehow leads to winning is crazy. Losing just leads to more losing. Sure, at this point the Suns need to get the best pick possible but they’re still gonna suck next year and I have no idea when it will end.

They have created a culture of losers.

The idea of flushing the perfect tank late in the season and hurt our chances at a generational big is crazy.

Hard to not play a guy big minutes when he is going off like Booker was. I don’t think it’s going to stay this way for the rest of the year.

I can understand this. Booker was having a big game.

Perhaps my concern is the Suns are going away from the backup guard concept of late. They are mostly playing a tighter rotation of Booker, Payton and Daniels. If the Suns were making a playoff run it would be more understandable.

I do not like the idea of playing Booker heavy minutes when the Suns are going nowhere. Harrison played only 2 minutes. As far as I can determine, Ulis was available as well.

I do not get the why part. From my perspective tanking has nothing to do with it. The Suns may have had a shortage of big men due to foul trouble but they had the guards and Dudley to play.
Of course tanking has something to do with it. People are out here lamenting Booker's minutes, but if you rest him, you only bolster the contention that the sunS are actively campaigning to be the crappiest team in the league?

The synopsis of this game is, "Unibrow cleaned up the offensive rim life a crew of Molly Maids."

Booker does not have to play 41 minutes to convince people the Suns are trying to win. I get Booker was having a big game but beyond that, I don't see the reason to play him more than the average 34 minutes a game he is playing this season. I do not view the Suns primarily through the tanking lens.

You sorta answered the question. He normally gets 34 minutes, it is an average after all. Whether Trianondecided to keep him in or Booker himself didn’t want to be taken out is irrelevant. We still lost with his monster game and Triano’s coaching so what’s the problem?

Exactly. I don't get what he's whining about... we lost. Whether Booker played 3-4 minutes less earlier in the night was not a factor. This complaining is a level beyond what I can handle.

I see no reason to play Booker heavier minutes when the Suns are going nowhere. Let the backup PGs carry some of the burden. Why increase the chance of injury by playing Booker the extra minutes?

Triano may want to increase the chances of getting a win by playing the rotation of Booker, Payton and Daniels but it's not going to accomplish anything other than getting a meaningless win.

That's all I'm saying. 40 minutes per seems excessive.

Naw bad teams start to win when the acquire enough talent. Exhibit 1: the very first team to overtly design the tank: Sixers. They were starting players who were all unrecognizable free agents for years. Where are they now? What? In the playoff race? All that losing didn’t result in a culture of losers? Acquiring talent via the draft by purposefully being bad paid off? WHAAAAAA????

EXCEPT HE'S NOT PLAYING 40 MINUTES PER! One game THAT WE LOST is all this is and your complaining about it doesn't change the fact that you got the result you wanted.

If Booker gets injured playing the extra minutes in a meaningless game, the tune on the forum will change in a hurry.
And...? I myself am on record as saying Triano is a terrible coach for this team. So if, God forbid, Booker gets injured, it is what it is. He can get injured playing 25 minutes as well, so...

Well... it certainly feels like we've lost 15 of our last 10.
