Yeah, but it's like watching a train wreck. You can't help but look. I was already watching other teams more than the Suns- Chicago, Atlanta, GSW, and Miami and OKC will be going to the top of the list now, but I can't just not like my Suns even if Bledsoe/ McD duo is destroying them.

Do you root for wins or loses now?

Save yourself the trouble of waiting and watch another team. Big universe. I choose teams based on how they play. I loved the Suns for so many years because of their style. Those days are over. Mindless pounding the rock isn't for me. Plus, you wouldn't have to stay up all night to watch!

if this is true, and you're not going to be a Suns fan, I sincerely hope you don't just hang around here, just to slam the team.

What makes you so confident in your assessment? Certainly not your track record.

Dragic's track record. And pretty much the track record of PGs in this league. a 23 and 10 PG pretty much makes Dragic one of the best PGs of all time.

If only we could return to the glory days when Dragic had his way and we were one of the worst teams in the NBA...

Curse these fools who steered us away from that nonsense!!!

Anyone heard anything from Knight about joining the Suns?

https://twitter.com/tdot_ennis/status/568542736619425792

https://twitter.com/MCW1/status/568534055186096128

Everyone else that's been traded has put up something about their new team while Knight hasn't posted a thing

https://twitter.com/Goodknight11

I wonder if Gambo is right and Knight is indeed unhappy about joining the Suns. I realize it sounds silly but in today's world, Twitter is used exclusively by most young athletes and people in general especially when a big news such as being traded happens.

Of course he is not happy. He went from being the leader of a team and running the show on a winning team to playing next to Bledsoe on a team with no shot at playoffs. He knows what they did to Dragic, and even IT, and he is in a contract year. Would anyone be happy?

Curious, sincerely.

Why does someone with such poor track record of analysis have such conceit?

Are you mad?

not mad... just realistic. You do realize that 23 and 10 are HOF of numbers right? Better then KJ, Isiah, Westbrook, Chris Paul, John Wall, Tony Parker, Steve Nash... and the list goes on and on. He's going to be better then all of those guys? sorry... I've seen nothing that tells that. If you do and are so sure of yourself, do you want to put some kind of bet on Dragic ever avergaing 23 and 10 over a season?

And again... if you're not a Suns fan anymore (which you stated earlier), why would you want to continue posting here? Is it because you want to hang around for approval of your prognostications?

Yeah, he had an amazing supporting cast, that year.

A bunch of the same guys he had the next year, plus Gortat, O'Neal and Scola. What changed was Frye and Bledsoe. Frye helped because Goran stinks in the half court without a PnR partner, and Bledsoe helped because he instantly became the best player on the team.

A couple pictures posted on his official facebook page:

And he was just on the suns postgame show over the phone.

I root for Len and the other youngsters. Don't care much about wins or losses. For as long as this is Bledsoe's team, it's doesn;t matter- they'll never be good enough to contend.

did i miss the years where Dragic ever lead a contending team? or even a playoff team? Seriously... I understand being skeptical of Bledsoe... I'm there too. But the over-flowing love of a guy who's never led a team to the playoffs in Dragic is beyond confusing to me.

he changed his facebook page... is in a Suns uni on it, changed his banner and was just on the post-game. But yeah... he seems PISSED.

We are talking about a season, two, or three... not career numbers.
He averaged 20 and 6 if I remember correctly last year playing half the season out of position. Move him to the East, let him play 36 minutes a night on his natural position with Bosh (pick and roll) McRoberts (spot up 3) and Whiteside... why would he score three more points and get 4 more assists?

Yep Dragic might just be the most overrated player in suns history especially when you consider how many very good to great point guards this franchise has had.

In fact his best moment as a sun (the spurs 4th quarter of course) came during his first tenure with the team.

This stuff is getting comical. The idea that Dragic was the avenue of "winning" when by every single measure imaginable the team has been far worse whenever Bledsoe is out... and was absolute trash before he arrived.

Dragic made it 100% clear he cares more about his own stats than winning and somehow Saint Goran remains obsolved of our sins.

I saw a legitimate star (not a Superstar, but a star) last year in January, February, and early March. I have never seen a star in Bledsoe save for a couple of random games.

Because no PG, unless they're playing All-time NBA ball puts up 23 and 10. 3 more points and 4 more assists is a HUGE leap FOR ANYONE. But hey... if you want to make some kind of gentlemen's bet on those numbers with an over under, I'm game.

so, out of Dragic's entire career, you saw him be a star for 2.5 months... again, I don't get the out-pouring of love for him.

and 23 and 10 numbers... aren't star numbers... they're HOF numbers. They're actually probably Best PG of all time numbers. No one's scored that much and dished as many assists over two or three seasons like you're expecting Dragic to.

I believe that our appreciation of Dragic as a Point Guard was based on his being bumped by two players who are simply not Point Guards. 'Just too short to be called anything else.

It made it a chore to watch Suns games. Fans deserve better.

Don't worry. I won't be hanging around. I just was curious what people were thinking after the changes, people that in an internet way I've come to know. Almost like watching a village as you drive away for the last time.

BTW, I'm not really the jerk you may think.

When I came here, I really wanted to discuss Suns basketball intelligently.

I said some things a little over the top in the hopes of creating discussion. It didn't go so well. I take the blame.

Things spiraled out of control on both sides, best I can tell, neither side willing to budge.

Enjoy the NBA.

haha... no worries... none of us are really the jerks we probably ALL come off as on these boards.

I know we rarely agree on this stuff you're worked about about this entire saga Steph but these predictions of yours represent a break from sanity.

Hey, the prediction is optimistic, and I sure as have have been wrong before. Hell, I wanted Tskitishvilli over Stoudemire in that draft, so unlike most people on this board, I don;t claim to know it all. I just think Miami is a much better situation for Dragic- he will be playing his actual position, he will be playing alongside a few good players, on a team that actually passes the ball.

We'll see what happens. If I am wrong I am wrong, if I am right I am right. It's not going to be the first or last time I will have been wrong or right about something.

Wow, perhaps his most classy post could be the final one.

Try to bring more of that to the Miami boards and less of what you brought here... you'll have a better time.
