per Mike Dantoni

Suns trade Brian Grant salary and #21 Rajon Rondo to Boston Celtics for Clevelands first rounder next year

once Carney was taken off the board, Suns wanted to get out of the 1st - as well as Sefalosha and Brewer

Did they actually trade Grant?

This is hilarious. They traded two guys for nothing!

When you trade, aren't you supposed to get something back?

ESPN was saying that BOS would just pay Grant's salary, not actually acquire him.

I can't stand money pinching basterds, and thats what this franchise is becoming under Sarver.

Marcus Williams on the board, and everyone and their mama knows we need a backup PG for Nash, and the best PG in the draft in most opinions is still on the board and WE SELL THE FRICKING PICK!

WTF WTF WTF!?!?!?

That doesn't make sense . . . he'd still hit the Suns' salary cap and their luxury tax unless he wasn't on the roster. Doesn't matter who's paying his paycheck.

that's another world of cheap!

brian grant is $1.8M over ONE year. is that what marcus williams goes for nowadays?

i can't wait to see the sarver nut-huggers come here and justify this one!

Don't look for an explanation from me. I'm lost!

This is bizarre.

IS THIS F'ING TRADE EVEN LEGAL?

How can you just sell a pick? We arent sending them any players and they're not sending us anyone back. So how the hell is this legal?

This is money for the #21 pick, HOW CAN STERN ALLOW THIS BS?

Looks like Bill Bidwill can officially be shed of the cheapest, penny pinching owner in Phoenix sports. Sarver just surpassed him.....
