This is just GREAT news. The Suns have traded the only two players I hate in Warrick and Lopez.

And while dumping em, they also collected assets to rebuild with (1st rd pick and young player)

I LOVE this new Suns FO. Babby and Blanks FTW!

All these first round picks means ammo for bigger moves. Things look brighter in Suns land they have in a while....

If this is true, the Suns FO has really turned the page.

This would represent one of our most brilliant move in years. Hope it goes down. THAT is the kind of move you make to build for a future. Pluck a young guy still on his rookie deal AND a 1st for 2 virtually worthless trade chips.

If Wo-Jo's terms are accurate then hats off to Babby for a major heist.

So what does Minnesota get? Or are they just being very generous?

Makes ZERO sense. There has to be more to it. If not, it's a maaaajor heist, as you say.

I'm hoping that after this deal, the Suns go after another big, preferably a center. Frye will be out for awhile longer so we need another 6-11+ guy to man the middle behind Gortat. I have a sneaky suspicion the Suns are gonna sign another 6-9 guy though (Garcia from our Summer League). I'd love for the Suns to do this deal then go after one of Haddadi, Pryzbilla, Foster. Haddadi for his youth and activity. Pryzbilla for his defense and blocking. Foster for his rebounding and great screens.

Title is misleading. The Tweet doesn't say it's happened.

Anyway, what would Minn. get?? They give up their only SG on the roster AND a 1st??? I can't imagine this is real.

Another thing to keep in mind: Johnson was a high pick, so he will make as much money as Warrick this year, but the Suns will have to make a decision whether or not to pick up an option for his fourth year before the start of season, i.e. before they ever see him play with the team. That option is for $5.5M. That would likely prevent the Suns from being able to offer a max deal next summer, so there is a good chance that Johnson will only be here one season if this trade goes down. Now Johnson has mostly looked like a bust his first two years after being selected 4th overall.

Could Dudley be involved?

Wes Johnson could have no arms and legs, I wouldnt care. Warrick was the kind of player you have to pair with a pick just to give away, Lopez appears to be on the verge of signing a laughable contract. We traded 2 guys with virtually no value and got a 1st. If Wes Johnson shows a pulse then its just gravy.

Wes Johnson is garbage and I'm hearing that they get Carl Landry from the Hornets (in another sign and trade)

Sounds like it will be Carl Landry going to Minn. in a sign and trade. Perhaps someone else too.

Man, if this happens... Damn, I don't care what anyone says, this was a good summer and great start to the team rebuilding. Change my grade to an A!

This is definitely awsome. Wonder if the pick will be protected at all. Greatest deal ive seen them pull in a while...

Just looked at that Wes Johson kid, he seems to be bust material but thats ok.

I think the deal actually makes a lot of sense. Frye will now play the 5 more which clears way for Kieff to get the bulk of the minutes behind Scola

Agreed man!!

I [deleted] hated Warrick and Lopez so much, I wouldn't mind taking on Satan to get rid of them. Now we're getting a 1st rd pick too?!!

Babby and Blanks just made up for trading that 1st rd pick for Aaron Brooks right now.

I'm not ready to write him off. 2 years in the league, #4 pick, and he played in T-Wolves system. He's far better than having Robin signed for too much and Warrick counting against the cap.

According to Wojnarowski, Minny might be getting Dyson and multiple draft picks in return as well as cap relief.

Btw, Warrick was in the final year of his contract.

Who will be providing the draft picks worry me.
