On Saturday the Suns face the Trail Blazers in Portland.

This is the start of five very tough games for the Suns: @Portland, @ Golden State, Utah, @Houston and @New Orleans.

Suns (15-51) have won three games in a row and four of their last five games. The Trail Blazers (39-26) have lost their last two games losing to Memphis and Oklahoma City respectively. OKC beat the Trail Blazers 129-121 in overtime on Thursday.

The game will be televised on FSAZ Plus at 8 p.m. Arizona time.

I agree Okobo belongs in the G-league.

It's been a long time since the Suns have founder a keeper in the second round.

I'm not expecting a win, but I do really hope the Suns find a way to maintain the level of play they've established last couple games. Communicate on defense, share the ball on offense, keep it close throughout. That's what I'm looking for.

The team’s second-leading scorer missed will miss his 18th consecutive game Saturday night at Portland with what’s being called right ankle soreness, but that doesn’t fully describe the injury.

It’s a bruise on the ankle that’s kept Warren out since Jan. 22 when he reinjured it in the first half of a 27-point home loss to Minnesota. Those types of injuries have been known to take up to two months to heal.

Suns coach Igor Kokoskov has said it’s about pain tolerance for Warren, who made the trip to Portland for the first game of a back-to-back before Phoenix plays Sunday at the defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors.
