Suns are my Kryptonite!
Again, Luka dropped 50 last time? Not really a rivalry.Has nothing to do with the team. It's Book vs. Luka.

So? It's still something the NBA likes to advertise. Luka has the advantage right now for sure.Again, Luka dropped 50 last time? Not really a rivalry.
It's definitely not Larry and Magic! I guess you gotta market a game somehow. Dubious about moving it to prime time, too.So? It's still something the NBA likes to advertise. Luka has the advantage right now for sure.
Luka vs. Book is the ONLY reason they did it. Count on that. It's definitely not Larry and Magic! I guess you gotta market a game somehow. Dubious about moving it to prime time, too.
Booker himself has to make better passes out of these. He often draws the double team out a bit further but then his passes are slow to get to the option in the middle which gives defenders time to recover.xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
No twitter to read those links, but agree here. Book's PG vision and passing ability is merely average, way below Harden's level, not even SGA's level. The best Suns can do is to about equally distribute the ball handler role to Book, Beal, Gordon, and KD, and make multiple playsets to help them fulfill that role when the task is upon them, due to game situation. In particular with Book and KD drawing constant double teaming treatment, it's more room for others to operate, but the players on court should be prepared and make moves to maximize the success.Booker himself has to make better passes out of these. Why is it shocking? Team has been thoroughly disappointing and book has looked okay as pg at best. Truth hurts.xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
It’s like he doesn’t know who is open. You should see the double coming, know who’s man that is and know where that teammate is for the first pass. A second pass should find a dunk or wide open 3. It’s just not freaking rocket science.Booker himself has to make better passes out of these. In all the Booker bashing, please remember that when he is doubled, more often than not, he has nobody to get the ball to because guys weren't trying to get open to receive it.It’s like he doesn’t know who is open. Not so much this season, but previous seasons guys actually ran away from him while he was getting doubled. Used to irritate me a lot!In all the Booker bashing, please remember that when he is doubled, more often than not, he has nobody to get the ball to because guys weren't trying to get open to receive it.
It's easy to say he sucks as a point guard, but remember he has to be able to actually make passes--guys have to make themselves available, and we've seen far too many times this season where they simply weren't doing so.
Agree. Booker's moves are well predicted by both teammates and opponents. Teammates all stand still except for the screen setter waiting for his drives. With this knowledge, def. doubles come in a way that cover the pass paths best. We gotta vary the pattern more and make us less predictable. In all the Booker bashing, please remember that when he is doubled, more often than not, he has nobody to get the ball to because guys weren't trying to get open to receive it.
