Nurkic responded to Shaq's comments. Maybe some research was in order by Shaq.

Shaq is an idiot sometimes, also has to diss any other big out there - past or present. But sounds like he's ready to move from TNT to ESPN with those types of comments.
That lineup is great against teams like the Kings, who are athletic and like to run. Won't work as well against bigger more plodding teams like the Nuggets.xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
I'm sure we'd all like to see an addition by trade or pickup as long as it makes us better. I'm just not convinced we're going to be able to do much.I think if the Suns can strengthen the team with a minor trade or signing, they should do it.
The Suns bench is not a strong point. I'd welcome more size or a point guard.
Any team can be improved, but it has to be the right move.

I love that he straight up said he didn't want to be traded. It's a business, but that still means something.xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
Not much.I love that he straight up said he didn't want to be traded. It's a business, but that still means something.
When is the last time you heard a player say he straight up did not want to be traded (minus KD a few weeks ago)? Not much.
When is the last time you ever heard a player say they did want to be traded while they were talking to the media in a press conference organized by the team? I don't think I have ever seen that.
An extension being agreed to is what will show he means it.
What does saying you want to be traded have to do with this specific quote? The real question is when is the last time you heard "I don't want to be traded" instead of something like "it's a business, I like where I'm at, but whatever happens happens". The latter is probably the most used type of quote of NBA players regarding trade talk. "I love playing with this team. I don't want to be traded" is about as direct you can be about that. Not much.

Exactly. KD did the same thing a few weeks ago when those articles started coming about how he was disgruntled. What does saying you want to be traded have to do with this specific quote? Most interesting part of that article for me:Suns are the top story on ESPN's NBA page today:
Why the Suns are remaining confident despite an underwhelming 22-18 record
A talent-laden roster dealing with adversity is nothing new for coach Frank Vogel. It's part of the reason why the Suns know it's a matter of time before the Big Three figure it out.www.espn.com
It's by Brian Windhorst, who in my opinion is ESPN's only closet Suns fan.
Meanwhile, the Suns' lineup of Durant, Booker, Allen, Gordon and Nurkic has the best defensive rating of any group in the NBA this season that has played more than 100 minutes together, according to ESPN Stats & Information. Repeatedly, there has been evidence that the pieces are there for a special team. Figuring out how to put them together is the mission.
