Holy ****. Lose two games... and you leave starting a game thread up to an Aussie.

21 - 21 after one.

I think Suns will win this. Just a gut feeling i have.

Q has started out VERY strong as has Amare.

Go Suns!!!

I know Barbosa has hit 4 trey's, but this kid looks ill.

I know he had the pox, but I don't think he's been right the entire year. In fact, he looks like he's lost all the pounds he put on over the summer.

He's being pushed around the court on D, and is not as quick as he used to be.

Hope he gets it back, because I actually like his game.

And, the Suns will need him. Especially now.

Suns are playing pretty well. Got down 9 then managed now to get back into it. Barbose is playing well. He's no point gaurd but he knows how to score.

10-1 run. Suns in the lead.

Go Suns!

Bad move by Hughes to taunt on the dunk over Amare.

Amare comes back on the next play and crams home a rebound dunk. Beautiful!

That'll learn em...

So Nash is not playing?

Well, I think it's a good test and learning lesson for this game. A great team needs to learn how to survive without its super-star(s). Spurs is great because when Duncan is out, the team can still battle, of course not as effective.

Nash sitting out will only make this team stronger. I mean Nash can't play 48mins.

Horrible, horrible loss. The Suns had suffered a complete meltdown over the final six minutes.

Barbosa looked awful, his hot three-point shooting notwithstanding. I was holding my breath every time he attempted a pass. I don't really like Jacobsen, but I sure would have preferred having him out there instead of Barbosa.

Stoudemire quit on the game once he got his technical. Down the stretch, the Wizards were playing a three-guard lineup -- and we're talking three small guards, not 6' 7" wing players -- and Stoudemire was nowhere to be found. He still has a lot of work to do on the mental aspects of the game.

From the boxscore, Barbosa must have been really bad as Arenas and Dixon scored big.

Man, when I left the office, Suns was still up by 4-6 pts in the 4th quarter.

Sigh... goodbye to our 70W.

3 losses in a row... WTF.

This team needs a good spank on the arse. I know Nash didn't play but we can't just depend on ONE person that much.

Well, 70 wins was a pipedream anyways...I just want us to get back to our winning ways...

It does suck that losing Nash = no running game...but what can we do. Someone else has to step up.

The Suns also need to play some defense...geez.

How was Suns' defense tonight?

Everybody says with Nash, your team's defense sucks. I would like to know if our defense is very good without Nash.

Man... they need to find a way to win without Nash. The team only has 13 assists tonight when Nash himself could probably get 13 every night. WTF is going on? Nobody runs? Nobody passes the ball?

Man, now I can see why D'Antoni refused to play the bench... maybe our bench sucks that bad. But how come Hunter only played a few mins?? He was injured?

We really need some punch off the bench. Tonight not one bench player scored. That is a terrible statistic.

I would much rather have Hunter start, or even throw Lampe in... or atleast play him a few more minutes than 0 minutes.

If Barbosa had been a hot hand off the bench it would have been nice. If Hunter had gotten more minutes he would have scored. I agree that I want Lampe getting minutes.

Wonder if Vroman or Casey will be back?

The Amare technical was bull****. He went up for a fastbreak dunk and the Wizards player (I forget who) just clubbed him in the head and knocked his headband sideways so much that it covered one of his eyes when he landed and the ref didn't call a foul. The ball came out of his hands when he got hit and didn't go in. Amare blew up at the ref with one eye still covered by his headband about the no call and got a technical. I hate it when guys get technicals because refs blow obvious calls and aren't doing their jobs.

Still the Suns were up 9 in the 4th with 6 minutes to go and should've found a way to close it out. The wizards turned up the defense pressure (and the hacking) and were able to get into the game as the refs swallowed their whistles after the Amare technical. If Nash was playing the Suns would've won simply because of his leadership in the 4th qtr. The team really started playing too much one-on-one instead of team basketball. To thier credit, JJ & Q were taking the ball to the hoop and getting hammered with no call.

So far I have only watch the game on a little screen on my computer, but I thought there were plenty of bad calls were no calls for both teams to complain about. I definitely would not have said that the officiating favored one side or the other. From the get-go the referees were allowing a lot of contact on both ends of the court for both teams.

I thought Amare got just clobbered a couple times. Looked like it was a hockey game. I would hate to see our guys get nasty, but they're going to have to find a way to keep Nash from being hammered all the time, and keep Amare from being mugged. Maybe you do have to give it back to make other teams think twice.

I was thinking the same thing, the Suns have been getting hacked and cheap shotted constantly. I'd hate to have Amare get suspended for 5 games, but I'd like to see him go after the next guy that gives him a hard foul, like putting 2 hands into his hips and shoving him when he going up for a dunk or taking his legs out from under him when he's going for an alley-oop (Harpring).

Maybe the Suns management should make a complaint? They can right?

Just keep complaining until they do something. hehe
