I have not watched more than 15 minutes of Suns basketball this year, but I went to this game last night and what a game it was. Beasley is just so damned effortless. If only that dude had some fire, he'd be a star. It was a very exciting game in context. I mean, the 41-41 score was not indicative of defense. Rather, it was a matter of two bad teams playing badly. But, the 2nd half was a roller coaster.

Great win and helpful to the Suns draft prospects on the LAL pick.

I forgot to add, PJ Tucker is a badass. He D'd Kobe up like no one else since Ruben Patterson in SEA.

Its really nice seeing games in person. I bet you could see Tucker's heart, passion, drive versus beasleys going through the motions

Absolutely. Beasley is so "sleepy" out there, but man he can still put up a dominant 27 points. Imagine if he were "awake"! He'd have dropped 45+ last night.

Tucker is just so damned energetic. That dude has fire.

On another note, I have never seen an "athlete" run as slow as Luis Scola. Seriously, I have NEVER been that slow in my straightline speed - even at this moment in my life having not been to the gym in three years. It is painful to watch him run. Geez.

That was the most satisfying Suns game I've seen in a couple years. It was great getting to root for them to win this year.

Ha, yep...definitely had to switch gears last night.

Put PJ's mind into Beasley's body and he'd be one of the best players in the NBA. I hate wasted talent.

If anyone finds a link to the Nash tribute video please post it, I haven't seen it but would like to.

My opinion, he is one of the best non-stars in the league. He'll never be a star but he's that rare kind of player that can take a good team to the next level. If we end up moving him it better be for something of real value. I'll need a new TV if we actually include him as trade fodder, something that gets suggested now and then.

As for Scola, he may be slow but at least he can't jump. He certainly knows how to use what he has though. If Frye had the physical strength of Luis, Channing would have been a superstar in this league.

Nice win for the Suns. Enjoyable game to watch and nice to see Nash back on the Suns floor albiet in a Laker uni. Glad I wasnt there in person. I'd want to thump heads if someone in my section was booing Nash. That crap dont fly with me.
Coach Igor Kokoskov is doing a great job acting as HC. Flys off the bench with timely TOs and commands the huddle with authority. I dont know what that checker boarded shirted mess LIndsey does but its def not acting as HC. Igor could be a possible HC candidate next year.

I think there's a lot more to being a Head Coach than calling timeouts or even commanding the huddle. Every Head Coach delegates. I'll admit, completely delegating the flow of the game is a bit unusual but I don't have a problem with it if it works.

Um no. Brown thinks he is Kobe, the problem is sometimes he is on other times he misses everything. This offence needs to run through Dragic.

I don't think you are quite following sunsfan88's version of tanking.

I was really glad to hear the Suns fans overtake the LA contingent at the end of the game. It was disappointing earlier when it sounded like a Lakers home game against the Clippers.

Short memories. You want slow running the court? Nobody beats this guy:

There's always an aspect to this team that has some around here bitching and moaning endlessly to the point I'm reminded my 5 year old daughter isn't the whiniest little girl around. This year there's been a lot of that, but none more than is directed at Beasley. With as much negative attention as this kid gets, he also deserves some praise for his play the past 5 games. For whatever reason, he's made huge improvement under Hunter. Perfect from mistakes, nope. Still a long ways to go, yep. His efforts on defense and certainly his shot selection of late have been fun to watch. Let's hope he can find a way to keep this going. He'll have his off nights as all do, but if he can find a way to be consistant with the effort and improvement he'll have been a steal with that contract. One of which is not the worst as some around here like to claim. He's got two years to turn himself around (third year is not guaranteed). He's not going anywhere other than perhaps being cut after the two. Rooting for the kid rather than wasting your time and annoying the rest of us with the constant complaining is in the best interest of everyone.

For most of this year, he looked absolutely clueless. I think most here didn't necessarily blame Beasley for that, they were just upset with mgmt bringining him here. Even if he is a bust, he contract is not a detriment and it is worth the risk.

I am not sure what the difference is in the last few games. Obviously, Gentry did not have a clue about how to develop and motivate Beasley. He was on Doug and Wolf this afternoon. Their comment aftwards was that he is a "soft" personality with an intense desire to please. Gentry's tough love was not working. They did say that everyone in the locker room really likes Beasley.

Its going to take some sort of psychologist to teach him how to get his competitive juices going consistently.

I was hit and miss with the game last night but I just finished watching it again and I'd have to say that was the most one-sided telecast I've ever watched. If you didn't know better you'd think the game involved someone named Kobe and a bunch of other guys that played for a team called the Lakers and NOBODY ELSE. Were we freaking invisible or what? When LA had the ball, they'd talk about the Lakers action and then when the Suns got the ball they'd talk about the Lakers in general. What an embarrassment of a performance from this ESPN crew. As a fan of Arizona sports I'm used to getting the short shrift but this topped them all.

It's been like this for a while now. Even when Nash and Amare were doing well.
