Ridiculous. Your stars are expected to take over games when it's on the line and KD has been more consistent than anybody on the team. I don't feel we were lucky at all. The team earned that win by playing their butts off with the cards dealt them. They get all the credit in the world for that.

Tell me...you going to be excited if the team loses the next 10? No you wouldn't. It was a good win. It's over. Next game.
What? Now you're twisting what I'm saying into I'll be excited if we LOSE the next 10 games? Wut?

Yeah... as someone who usually takes injury into consideration when judging or getting excited about a win, that ain't the case here for me. This is still a team with the second worst record in the league who went toe to toe with GS with Durant... on the road for 42 minutes... and pulled off the W.

After almost a decade of crap, not allowing yourself to get excited about a W like this, coming on the heels of pretty much ending LeBron's season and beating Milwaukee doesn't compute to me. But, different strokes for different folks.

I'm stoked about the W and upswing. First time in a long time.

King of begs the question of why it took so darn long to insert Oubre into the starting line-up when it was obvious from Day One that this needed to happen.

I think what a lot of people are excited about is that the Suns are actually playing GOOD basketball against good teams.

To me it looks like some of the youngins are getting better and that James Jones has made some good moves to improve the team.

As mediocre as he is, Johnson has been a huge upgrade because he is moderately effective at a position that the Suns may have been historically bad at (PG).

It's now not a stretch to think that if the Suns add a capable PF and the young guys continue to grow, that this team can be pretty good. A month ago, this was a laughable proposition.

I loved how Curry and Booker took it personal to defend their guys. Booker actually took it personally.

I don't remember when -- in the fourth quarter, I think -- but Booker actually hustled back to defend a 2-on-1 break, making it difficult enough for the Warriors that they missed a (still easy) layup. That was a really big play.

It's just a head-shaker to think we are still unwinding the trade for Knight, but Jones is doing it effectively. Johnson is giving us not only more than Anderson did, but more than Knight did as well.

Does anyone know when the final 2 minute report comes out? I thought the league released those the day after a game but I'm not seeing any for yesterday on the site that posts them. I'm curious to see what they claim was missed.

Here's a link for those reports, yesterday's isn't up yet but you can bookmark it for later or something.

Looks like the one from last night is out now: https://official.nba.com/l2m/L2MReport.html?gameId=0021801000

Only call they marked as Incorrect was the drive Oubre had on Draymond. It was deemed a foul (no whistle was called), but that's moot because apparently Oubre had a tiny foot shuffle before the drive which should have been called a travel.

Everything else after review was called correctly, including what I thought was a foul on Klay when he manhandled Booker for a steal.

Klay absolutely fouled Devin....and then they called the foul on Booker and Klay shot free throws.

Yup. Watching book last night I got the impression that he was really working defensively.

Yeah I agree. It was one of the few games I noticed him making some positive defensive plays.

I really do think last night was probably his overall best game in the NBA.

That was the play I was interested in the most. I've watched the replay a few times and I don't see how that was ignored. A no call might have been fine but they called a foul on Booker after the "steal".

I never paid much attention to the 2 minute reports before outside of when players get in trouble for commenting on them but I like the format they release them in. I didn't realize they linked video to everything.

yup. I think that was the best overall performance I've ever seen from Booker. He set the tone, and just completely took over with six minutes left to get the big lead. Wasn't crazy about the last 3:30 when it was just pure hero ball AND Ayton was taken out of the game, making it easier for the Warriors to double, but he still had a big rebound and hit FTs to seal it. Dude was a superstar last night.

Again though, why the hell did Igor put Ayton on the bench with 6 or 5 minutes left? That made literally ZERO sense to me.

Booker seems more relaxed when he doesn't have to do all the work. He doesn't overthink things and takes a few less stupid shots. I also think he looked really good down the stretch probably because he had more energy. I honestly think if we had one more major piece on this team? Booker looks even better on a more consistent basis.

I was puzzled by that too. Only thing I could figure is that fatigue was involved. But that’s pure speculation.

It was almost certainly fatigue. Ayton came into the game at 2:41 in the 3rd and then sat down for a quick breather at 2:47 in the 4th. Without that quick breather he would have been on the floor for the last 15 minutes of that game.

I think so too, he made a steal in the passing lane and I was like, where has this activity been all year? Then he bodied up on Klay, I was like okay I'll give Book some slack. Really nice to see him take pride in defense, as well as the rest of the team. People can say oh the shots weren't falling for the Warriors but rotations and closing out on shooters has an effect. And Johnson was physical with Curry, there were a few times Curry had his crybaby face on looking at the refs.

I don't recall Curry being that whiny before Durant got there. I'm not sure if that's true or not and he's always been this way but it's almost like he believes he hasn't committed a foul in the last 2-3 years. He also seems to believe he hasn't missed a shot without being fouled, called or not, in quite some time as well.

I know he used jaw at the Cav's in the finals but it seems to taken to jawing at the refs now wehn things don't go his way. I was really surprised to see him act like that in a regular season game against a team that they didn't need to worry about beyond that night.

Maybe being on the floor with Lebron made me miss a lot of what he was doing, or excuse it, but it seemed like his face was stuck like that for the final 4 minutes or so.

I think the entire team felt more and more privileged as the championships have come along. Remember the Curry mouthpiece toss?

Is there a star in the NBA that isn't whiny? They all seem that way to me.
