SuperLift 2005 Images

Slingshot Photography provided photos of the Stadium Roof lift that occurred from Feb. 18-21, 2005.

On Friday, the process of disconnecting the Brunel truss from the yellow jacks that supported the roof during construction began.

By Saturday mid-morning, the roof was already lifted several feet above the yellow jacks.

On Sunday, Mammoet (lifting contractor) decided to replace some of the lifting wedges, halting the progress of the roof lift. This picture, taken at sunrise on Monday shows the additional 53 feet that the roof needed to be raised to.

Later on Monday, the roof nears its completion point.

Nice. If you guys have the chance to check it out go to 91st ave and Maryland and there's a bridge there where you can park your car and look at that stadium in awe.

It's been great watching the stadium go from nothing to having a roof over it.

Any news on if the rain is delaying the stadium at all?
