Darren Urban, of the East Valley Tribune, reports Arizona Cardinals OT Oliver Ross (knee) suffered an undisclosed knee injury during practice Tuesday, Aug. 1, and head coach Dennis Green said Ross could miss three or four weeks.

maybe meniscus - tear or torn
tear - 4-6 weeks

backup RT has been Elton Brown
Wakefeld has now been moved from left to right T (now the starter)
Jermey bridges has now been moved from gaurd to backup LT

Lincoln Kennedy name is being thrown around
he is moving to mesa soon

we might have to wait to see if anyones cut

he doesnt think Kennedy is available though - what kind of shape is he in?
MJ was told he was in some camp
his name was mentioned to MJ this morning

same thing that hurt anquan a couple years ago- he was out 9 or 10 weeks
anquan told MJ today that a torn meniscus is a 10 week injury

Ross will have to wait till swelling goes down

As much as I don't like Ross, this injury hurts us. He is a starter and it hurts the lines continuity. I'm hoping Elton Brown can step in and pick up the slack but I wonder if he is ready. Wakefield will hopefully be a surprise but already we are relying on a former NFL DE and a college RG to fill a RT void, it is way too early for this kind of stuff.

Maybe we could bring in Wayne Hunter for a look? He was backing up Locklear last year.

Blessing in disguise

Now is the time to find out if Reggie Wells can play RT. I have serious doubts about Elton Brown out there and we saw Fred Wakefield last year.

If Wells can play it, we have to hope Leckey or Step can do the job at C and the Deuce can hold down LG.

This is frustrating.

You would think that the sight of Fred Wakefield playing tackle last year would have motivated management to bring in some viable options for depth at the tackle position during the offseason--- instead they did nothing

and to be clear, I am not, nor never was one of those "Lets get Jon Runyan" folks -- I am talking about someone like a Tom Ashworth from the Pats -- good, servicable veteran depth who the Seahawks signed late in free agency
