"It's been this way" means the jury has voted for the winner, not the style of game the winner has played.

To bitch and moan, which is all nashman is doing, about this particular result because you don't agree is nothing but throwing a tantrum.

The problem is all the pansy asses in the world now want to sympathize with the losers! Russell plays the game hard and better than the rest so they are so bitter and hateful that he made them all look stupid they give the prize to someone to spite him. They all know in their heart that he is the best player and schooled all their asses and they can't stand it!

This is simply crap. You think Russell has some special abilities that allow him to play the game his way and that's why other people didn't employ his particular "game"? That's simply ridiculous.

More so, they realize that his way of playing the game is a losing strategy, like it has been the past two times. Russell, in a poetically ironic way, has been the person TO take to the finals because you know he's not going to beat you when you get there. He IS what he thought Sandra WAS.

It is what it is a HUGE flaw in the way the winner is picked in this game, spin it however you want it is a complete joke that Sandra has won Survivor twice and a guy like Russell who went BACK TO BACK seasons with a target on his back and managed to work the game like NO OTHER doesn't win. A COMPLETE JOKE!

Target on his back? Just more crap. Aside from Sandra, who honestly tried to get rid of Russell? Hell Cirie was more of a target than Russell was in this season.

Only guy to win Americas vote twice. A cool 350 grand. I would call that a bad player.

He's not a bad player but he'll never win the million the way he plays. America votes for him because he's great tv, he's scheming all the time, finding the idols without clues, he's brilliant for the little interviews they do like when JT gave him the idol and things like that. He's by far the most entertaining player on the season to me, but he'll never win because he alienates too many people.

I'm glad he won the 100K but that's a different award entirely.

Tangent anybody else think Rupert needs to do a reality check? He seems to have gone off the deep end a bit. He was still glaring down Russell at the reunion show, he's taking it way too personally and he seems really obsessed with the whole heroes thing? I can understand being mad a day or two after but in the end it is a game and the object is to be the sole survivor and someone who has played it 3 times now ought to understand that. I thought he was acting really "odd" the whole season.

And yet she won so does it really matter she didn't get Russell out? And I think it's clear at the end that even if Sandra wanted him gone there was good reason for the rest to keep Russell around, he didn't get a single vote, and he was loyal to Parvati which meant he increases her chances of making the final 3 and then he's no threat to get votes from the jury.

It's actually hilarious that you state a fact "YOUR SUPPOSED TO VOTE FOR THE PERSON YOU THINK PLAYED THE GAME OF SURVIVOR THE BEST", but you don't like the results of said fact.

That America could possibly determine anything given the amount of editing that occurs from the hours of footage they generate while playing is crazy.

Russ is right, Russell makes great TV for Survivor. That doesn't make him the best Survivor. Russell's strategy is hardly any better than Johnny Rotten's was. If it's such a "winning strategy" why didn't it work for Rotten?

Russell is one of my favorite survivors ever.

However he fails to realize that pissing off the people who he needs votes from will never work.

I personally don't like the 3 survivors at the end. I think they should have widdled it down to 2 like they used to do.

Russell had just lost the prior season for the exact same reasons that he lost it again this season. He didn't adapt his game this time around and he wonders why he lost again. As much as I like Russell as a Survivor he didn't play the game right to ultimately win the Jury over. You don't get votes from the jury you don't win the game.

I think that Russell believed because it was an All Stars situation that they would appreciate game playing and not consider the personal element as much as had been done on his Samoa season. The problem was that turned out to be untrue, all of them had done it before and were familiar with the game playing, so they actually seemed to take it more personally if anything.

Perhaps Mark Burnett should have a show where 20 or so people are stranded on an island with spears, knives and a mace or two and then each week a couple of them face off and battle each other to the death.

Personally, I like the name PSurvivorX.

This way we would never have to worry about a mis-match like Sandra vs. Russell ever again.

PS - I got this idea while rewatching the Amanda vs. Danielle catfight for about the fiftieth time or so.

There is talk that they could have a show of people that didn't make it over injury or to the jury like Mike Skupkin that was burned in Australian Outback! Would love to see them get a second chance.
