Great article! It helped me realize we played the Bengals this year in our opener and not the Bills.
After the 2024 season opener loss to the Bengals, Murray claimed it wasn’t his job to get the ball to rookie sensation Marvin Harrison Jr. That comment set Sharpe off, as it left him—and many others—wondering: if it’s not the guy holding the football’s responsibility to decide where to throw it, then whose is it? Sharpe went on a three-minute tirade, breaking down Murray’s attitude.

Great insight from Brady on his superpower as a QB. So true.

Absolutely great watch on a quarterback who did everything he could to get the edge and to win and excel at a high level.

This is why I stress so hard that KM needs to get in the film room and do his work and learn to read a defense and know where everybody is at all times to elevate his game

I mean it’s fairly wild that JG hasn’t specifically mentioned how much of a leader in film study Kyler is

TB knew where his guys were and supposed to go

He wouldn't even snap the ball until he read the defense and knew what it was

This is what elite and top QB's do

That's why KM can't get to that level

I'm still a firm believer that with KM learning to read a defense and knowing where all his receivers are will elevate his game and help prevent these big collapses that we see

You know exactly what you are getting in this thread by now. If it's of no interest to you then you can just not come in here, rather than passively aggressively throw shade.
You still mad about the Deone Walker thing?

Or is it people calling out your loyalty to Michael Bidwill?

I wonder if Philly's fanbase still wants to move on from Hurts and the coach?

Hopefully Monti can fill this team with studs because I don't believe Hurts is way better than K1.

Well there you go. Did you see the shot during the game where Hurts was surrounded by his OL going over the game shots?

I disagree with this depending on the stat. Everyone knows I love DVOA, but I also understand that it has some weak spots and blind spots that you have to question and contextualize. It's better than, like, passer rating or yards. I also trust it more than EPA/Play because the numbers are too small to make real distinctions most of the time.

What people don't understand is that if/when you move on from Kyler there's no guarantee that the next guy is Stroud (who has been regressing some this season and obviously was going to), Love, or Jayden Daniels.

It's more likely that the next guy is Daniel Jones or Geno Smith or Jalen Hurts or Derek Carr.

No one is expecting or asking him to do this. I think the big problem is that he's doing a terrible job enabling his teammates on the offense to make any highlight reel plays at all.

The entire WR group is averaging 15 targets, 8.9 receptions, and 104 yards per game this season. For comparison, Garrett Wilson is getting 7.7 targets, 6.57 receptions, and 65.7 yards per game by himself.
Stop it

Are you sure you two aren't married. The way you guys bicker back & forth makes it seem that way lol.
He know he feels foolish after multiple people corrected him about his recently bad takes so he’s trying to take his anger out on me lol.

Yes, HOW DARE I take in a full season's worth of additional data on a guy who was Super Bowl MVP and incorporate that into my model.
You compared the dude to Geno Smith and Derek Carr just this year.

My point is that a lot can change when you have talent on a roster which we have very little of.

Hurts is not a better quarterback if you limit your definition of quarterback to ability to throw the football.

Sadly, it's much more than that and Hurts is much better at all those things.
