I subscribe to the DirecTV Game Day college football package, and between that and coverage on the local sports channels (approx. 621 - 650) I get to see a lot of college football games.

I'm not claiming to have watched Robertson a lot, but I did see him a couple of times over the past couple of years and came away impressed.

Suggs I watched intently. He impressed the bleep out of me as a pass rusher.

Being in the east, I get to see Penn State a lot. What sticks out in my mind is the ABSENCE of anything really good or bad about Kennedy. Believe me - wanting so badly for us to add bulk the middle of our D-line, I tend to watch defensive line play as much if not more than I do QB's and RB's. Kennedy didn't flash the way, say, Sims, Rogers, Corey Simon or even Hampton did when they were in college. And to be rated in the Top 10, he should have dominated play.

I watched the Oklahoma State/Oklahoma game and the DT Williams from Ok St. played an absolutely phenomenally dominating game against good competition.

Kerouac, the best d-line if football, Tampa Bay, is full of underweight, fast players.

Williams passes the Jeff Gollin eyeball test for me. Like Suggs, he plays big.

That begs the question - if Suggs and Robertson are gone at #6, would Rod Graves reach for Williams at that spot rather than take a CB we don't need as badly as a DT?

We have to go DT/DE with our two picks. If we pick right then we can have a major impact on D. So, to answer your question, yes. They would reach for Williams at 6 if that is their pick.

Newman is just too good to pass on IMO. Everybody seems to like the guy and most expects have him as the safest pick in the draft. He's extremely talented, smart and a character guy. He just seems like a "Mac guy".

On another note. If Suggs, Robertson and Newman are all gone it probably means that WR Johnson is still there at #6. Two options then. Take him or trade down with the Jets.
