I just watched a bunch of Collins tape. He might honestly be the best fit for this team. Great inside / outside game. Strong rebounder and has great feet / lateral quickness.

He could be but it's difficult to tell with the limited minutes, the weak competition and the fact he was often facing the second team. But he is one of the players I'd like to see how he does in workouts. It was a really small sample size but he made more than half his 3's too which is quite a bonus for a player that looks like he might be able to hold his own down low.

I think the Suns greatest area of need is center however I do not want to address it at #4.

Maybe in a trade-down I would. I'd settle for a strong rebounding shot blocking center in the draft but I'd like to move up from #32 a few notches to have more options. There appears to be a lot of center depth in the draft.

He was very good in the tournament and that wasn't bad competition. But yes he is in the 98th percentile in efficiency, but that is because of limited minutes.

Very hard to find a guy who can be in the 96th percentile in post play AND shoot the three like he does

I agree. I don't think he's done enough for us to simply grab him but I do think he's shown enough for us to explore it further. I won't be disappointed if we draft him at 4 although obviously, getting him later would be even better.

Not really. Lakers aren't passing on Lonzo Ball despite what some click bait article may be telling you.

Suns will choose between Fox/Isaac/Tatum because draft likely goes Fultz, Ball, Jackson for the top 3.

If the Suns really want Jackson, they should try and make a trade with the Celtics.

A tidbit on Jackson from Doug Haller.

With that question answered, the next focuses on Boston's intentions at No. 3. The Celtics are expected to select Jackson or Duke's Jayson Tatum. Boston GM Danny Ainge on Tuesday had tried to get Jackson in for a workout, but reportedly was unsuccessful.

Provided they keep the No. 4 pick, the Suns likely will choose from Jackson, Tatum and Kentucky point guard De'Aaron Fox.

It's looking more and more that the Suns will draft Jackson unless they trade the pick.

If Jackson does not work out for the Celtics it's a big hint.

No mention of Isaac? If Fox is still there is the Sac trade still on the table?

It all depends if the Suns decide to trade the pick. I read somewhere the Suns will look at trade offers the day of the draft.

McDonough is so crafty at keeping things quiet.

They should probably hire him to work in government. LOL

According to David Aldridge, the Lakers tried to swap the second pick for 5 and 10 and Sacramento said no...

Another idea. The Magic have #6 and #25. The Suns should be able land Isaac at #6 if the Magic wants Fox.

At #25, the Suns should be able to land a solid big man.

I'm basing this off of a friend relaying what Gambo said...but it sounds like the Suns are down to Fox and Tatum (or Jackson) and have basically ruled out Isaac.

Of course, that could be a misdirection...

If the Kings decided to offer #5 and #10 I could learn to like a player in a hurry. :)

The Suns would have to lock onto Fox hard to make it happen.

If Jackson is not working out for the Celtics, it may be sending a message.

However, the rumor could well be true.

Gambo basically said that the Suns will pick between Tatum and Fox at 4, but their ideal scenario is nabbing both Fox and Isaac.

I'm interpreting that as Tatum (or Jackson) is their guy, but if they can arrange a trade with a team like Minnesota and get another pick we'll draft Fox and try to get Isaac.

I think Suns want to draft Fox and try to flip Bledsoe and a pick for another high pick to get Isaac.

Another option is trying to ransom Sacramento for Fox.

Just out of curiosity, do you or anyone else for that matter, know who Gambo was saying the Suns would draft last year? I seem to recall him saying the Suns had ruled out Bender but I could be thinking of someone else.

I don't remember, but I remember that this board was pretty sure they were going to take Bender.

He was almost certain they'd take Bender if he was there at #4.

I do remember an awful lot of talk about Chriss. So much so that I scouted some extra film on him last year just to get a firmer take on him. I must have been hearing it from Gambo. There was almost zero chance of him being there at #13. They would've taken him at #4 but wisely targeted him at #8 and traded up to get him.

Gambo has a lot of short comings, but one thing he seems to nail is who our teams like in the draft. He's almost too good for our own good as other teams are probably keying in on what he's saying and using it against us (see 2017 NFL draft).

Edit: I'm new here, so can someone please explain to me why Goran Dragic is the player in the upper right hand corner of this page. It's been 2 1/2 years.

Nope. No one can explain the Dragic thing.
