Whatever Cheese.

You have been all over this board about the smallest fart in the wind. At this point it just more of the same.

"the smallest fart in the wind". maybe you think losing to the Niners twice is a small fart in the wind, or to a horrific Panthers team is a "small fart in the wind", or taking what at this point looks like a possible top ten bust pick is a "small fart in the wind" but I don't. I criticize when the team deserves criticism. That's more often than not this season (although not as much thankfully).

Plus you take any chance you get to get all over my business.

Rugby, you make a lot of very opinionate comments, a lot of them directed at POSTERS rather than football. That's something that irks me, either way.

BTW, what was the last positve thing you or the posse' complemented the Cardinals for doing.

um, last week when we beat the Browns and I thought we showed good resilience and was happy to be in a place we hadn't been since 1998. Sorry if I reserve my compliments for when the team actually deserves them. Weird how that works, huh?

Since it is such a blatant lie. Which of course I am always full of.

Uh, Rugby you said darksiders HATE EVERYTHING GREAT WE DO. That is a blatant lie. Now apparently SWD hates almost everything we do, but last I checked, he's out on his own island where the sun literally doesn't exist. As to "which of course I am always full of" I don't believe I said that anywhere.

What next you gonna complain about me putting words in your mouth.

hey man, if the shoe fits...

Or are you just gonna call me and my idea lunacy, or stupid?

where have I called you lunacy or stupid? My comment was directed at Shane, because we have a good board relationship and we jab each other all the time because we know we can take. Sorry if you took it the wrong way.

Easy there Cowboy.

I never said we shored up the line, and I believe I stated that this is all my opinion which you and the rest of your posse' thinks is the wrong opinion, that has been well stated.

So easy it back a bit. You are getting keyed up and your posts are showing it.

You and the rest of the darksiders want to spend all your time re-hashing negatives that is fine, but don't go out on a limb to get a reaction out of me. You guys hate everything that the Cardinals are doing that is great, and feel free to vent, but your little attacks and group name calling is old news.

my bad. just stirring the pot . . .

The whole argument about AP vs. Brown is that rarely do you get the chance to draft a player like AP whereas you can pretty much get a tackle of Brown's ability every year. Brown may very well turn out be good, productive player. But, he's not a huge difference maker like AP already is.

Cb -- I agree with you for the most part --

however, I think on the heels of a baddddd game, you underestimate Brown. Have you watched the next tackle taken -- Joe Staley? It could be worse. Tony Ugoh has played well for a second round pick prior to injury -- but in the absolute, has been merely okay.

Yet, when WE DO post another thread somewhere that is positive, and the darkside posse' comes rolling into it calling people morons, lunatics, stupid, pointing and laughing etc., etc. it is OK.

Whatever.

the point is, we're coming into those threads to voice our opinions and make arguments, the people to whom russ refers come in to ridicule or lament the very existence of the thread. if i see a thread topic that i don't care for, i don't read it and then no need to get worked up. why do people keep reading threads they wish didn't exist???

They said the same thing about Reggie Bush last season. They'll surely say the same things about Darren McFadden this year. They'll more likely than not dub another HB with that same tag next year.
Well, we didn't have the chance to draft Reggie Bush and we won't likely have the chance to draft McFadden.

I'll bring this question up over and over again. You have a 30 million dollar man at HB. Peterson would have commanded top 5 pick money, guaranteed. The question-- who would have blocked for him?

I'm no Kool-Aid drinker.. Far, FAR from it. However, all last year, I read people complain at length (and rightfully so) about how horrible the Offensive Line was and how the Cardinals main goal in the post-season had better be upgrading the line. They go out, they make efforts to improve the line, and you still have a large contingency of people complaining about who they DIDN'T take. I swear to God, if I had a nickel for every thread or post on here about how the Cards should have taken Peterson, I'd be able to buy the Cardinals from the Bidwills and probably own a good piece of the Suns too.

Ok, let's assume the Cardinals HAD taken Peterson.. Who'd have blocked for him? And pray tell, what would the Cards have done with James?

Ugh... this is a lame conversation to get involved in. But...

Isn't this bascially saying that we used a Top 5 pick on a player that has turned out to be just as good as a second-rounder? Couldn't we have gotten Adrian Peterson and Tony Ugoh and been better off than with L. Brown and a still-invisible Alan Branch?

Whatever Cheese. So Ouchie is allowed to post over-exaggerated BS and I am not. Talk about a double standard.

You have been all over this board about the smallest fart in the wind for quite a while. At this point its just more of the same.

Plus you take any chance you get to get all over my business and spew it back at me with as much propaganda and ill will as you possibly can.

BTW, what was the last positve thing you or the posse' complemented the Cardinals for doing. For some reason I can't think of one.

Since it is such a blatant lie. Which of course I am always full of.

What next you gonna complain about next? Me putting words in your mouth in your mouth again?

Or are you just gonna call me and my ideas lunacy, or stupid?

W-H-A-T-E-V-E-R. Same old, same old. So tired of this half-butt bullying that goes on here. It really has become a shell of what it used to be.

Take your eccentric BS elsewhere and stop riding my words for all their worth. I have tried to make peace with you and you have never excepted it. Blow.

switch to decaf Rugby. I've got no beef with you besides the idea that darksiders hate everything great that we've done, which is quite frankly, insulting. But even then, I have no animosity towards you, nor have i called you stupid, a lunatic, or labeled everything you do as eccentric BS or accuse you of bullying people.

For a lot of people, Leonard Davis and Mike Gandy would have blocked for James/Peterson. If not, then Tony Ugoh and Mike Gandy would have blocked for James/Peterson.

James got most of his money in the first year of that contract. Doesn't his salary number go down over the next two years? The Cards could have started James and then put Peterson in to spell him. Remember how at the beginning of the season Whis was saying that the Cards were going to run the ball 650 times, and Edge wasn't going to get all those carries?

I completely agree with you on this/

Yeah, but it is give and take.

I have made threads that had "positive" or something like that in the title and would go one further to say in the first line of the thread state the reason for the thread, only for it to be pulled down into the depths of darkness. And I am not the only one it happens too.

Heck, every preseason it seems like every thread is filled with "Who cares it's only preseason it means nothing" on every other post.

It is a two way street that all of us have gone down.

You certainly have called me names in the past.

INSULTING. You have insulted me so many times it is a joke.

And buddy, you don't even want to know the shoe you fit in.

And where was all this, "I got no beef with you" stuff when I extended the olive branch the last time we butted heads.

Talk about feeling insulted and p!ssed on. And I can care less if you think I am "keyed" up. I am, what of it.

I'm not way down on Levi. I realize he had a bad game.I said as much in another post. One thing it seems like the Cards don't do, and i'm not sure how much teams do this,is look what talent is available the following year's draft. There are about 5 OT's projected in round 1 this year amongst Jake Long, Ryan Clady, Phil Loadholt, Micheal Ohler, Sam Baker, Alex Boone, and Gosder Cherilus. To me, and i'm sure part of this is hindsight, you could've franchised Big for a year, drafted AP and then took a tackle this year and we'd be in about the same spot, OL-wise, and have AP toting the ball on a full time basis next year :stick:. I don't think that would've been too far fetched for a front office to do.

uh okay. Seriously rugby, you keep talking about olive branches, but I don't even know when one was needed. I've got and have never had a personal beef with you. I may completely disagree with most everything you say relating to football, but different strokes for different folks.

You're right. Plus, you make a great point. Alan Branch is gettin a free pass with all the Brown vs AP talk and no third round pick to speak of. I know it's hard to judge a DT but Watson, Dockett, and even Smith get noticed when they are in there. I never realize when Branch is in the game. And,at the time, i loved the Branch pick.

Because we had a very expensive back in the backfield already and NO LINE so the right pick is to build the line...clear enough for you cheese?

I'm going to start my own "siders" group.

Naming it is going to be hard.

The Pissedsiders.

Pissedofftimists? I think that one is it...former optimists who sit on the darkside but don't like it, but know it's right. Who look at the team and see them losing more games than they win and being ok calling it that way and if they happen to win then sweet, but I'm not expecting it.

Join me...come to the fold, Pissedofftimists.

If Levi turns into an all pro linemen would it be the right pick then a few years down the road? Just silly for people to keep bringing up AP we didn't pick him and rightly so get over it!
