This is a game where the Cardinals can't take it for granted and look ahead

They need to stay focused on this game only and come out strong

O needs to sustain long drives and get TDs

D needs to stop the run game and take control

Any given Sunday

Go Cardinals!

Chandler Jones will not play Sunday

Cardinals edge rusher Chandler Jones returned to the team facility Friday after passing COVID-19 protocols. The team, though, did not activate Jones from the COVID-19 reserve list Saturday, so he will not play Sunday.

Jones last played Oct. 10 against the 49ers, two days before he tested positive for COVID-19.

Jones has five sacks, all of which came in the season opener against the Titans, nine tackles and two forced fumbles.

The Cardinals promoted four practice squad players. Defensive lineman Josh Mauro, who signed this week, is a standard elevation, while linebacker Joe Walker, offensive lineman Danny Isidora and tight end Ross Travis all were COVID replacements.

Defensive linemen Corey Peters and Zach Allen, like Jones, remain on the COVID-19 reserve list.

Gotta get to 7-0 to at least match that 1974 team!
The Cardinals raced out a 7–0 record to open the 1974 season and won the NFC East championship — their first division or conference title since their unsuccessful title defense of 1948 — on the strength of a season sweep of the Redskins. However, due to the NFL playoff format then in force in which the division champions rotated between home-field advantage regardless of their respective records, the Cardinals missed out on a chance to host a first-round playoff game since it was the NFC East champion's turn to go on the road. St. Louis still had the opportunity to host the NFC Championship Game by winning their divisional round contest, but this was not to be. While St. Louis took an early 7–0 lead against the Minnesota Vikings in Bloomington, Minnesota, a missed field goal just before halftime sapped the Cardinals' momentum. The Vikings scored 16 points in the first seven minutes of the second half and cruised to a 30–14 victory.

If we don’t blow them out then we aren’t contenders.

Pride works both ways, yea 18 point underdogs has to burn the Texans deep, many looking past them to green bay Thursday, I mean if we were pressured for playoff spot wouldn’t Jones have played? We have some luxury right now with both games at home. Some good players getting rest because of covid.
guess it’s time to get greedy and kick the crap out of the Texans and rest our starters for green bay. But be prepared for a slug fest - don’t think Texans want to ride off into the sunset, with tail between their legs.

A good 14 point win is fine. Although it would be great to beat a team by 30+ and finally score 40.
I think the line is up to ARI -19.5 now, unreal.
Dont think it'll cover (love if we do though) Not sure Kliff is throwing late like Whipple was. Then again with Kliff we probably dont have the redzone struggles we had a week ago.
