It's football season!!
So they are definitely going Stroud and definitely going defense.. Stroud to convert to a DB, obviously!Schefter just said they are likely going defense.

They're going to trade up and take pics two and three. Get their edge rusher and a quarterback at one time.So they are definitely going Stroud and definitely going defense.. Stroud to convert to a DB, obviously!
If they want to do that, then Stroud at 2 is definitely the choice. They definitely have the ammunition to move up.They're going to trade up and take pics two and three. Get their edge rusher and a quarterback at one time.
I think I saw that scenario in an expert mock draft somewhere recentlyThey're going to trade up and take pics two and three. Get their edge rusher and a quarterback at one time.
Yeah but he's so much bigger and stronger than Anderson.Wilson favored foot walking
Take 33 and the 3rd from 2024 and move back to end of round 1.We get 12, 33 and 1 & 3 in 2024
Pretty close! The Cards ended up getting all of that, plus a 3rd next year. And they got (likely) the better of the Texans' two first rounders next year. But they did give up this year's 4th.They have a lot of draft capital from the bears trade.. I’d take a lot of that!
#12, 33 and one of their two first rounders next year would be a great haul.
This guy absolutely leapt out on the tape when I was watching PJJ. He looked like an animal early in the season but faded as the year went on.One last one

I was wrong about the draft capital coming from the Bears trade too (that was the Bears getting the draft capital from Carolina). This was actually a result of the Watson trade to CLE.Pretty close! I wonder if other teams dropped players that said they dreamed to be a firefighter or an astronaut...This guy absolutely leapt out on the tape when I was watching PJJ. He looked like an animal early in the season but faded as the year went on.
A lot of potential at RT but a lot of risk, too.
Context is important... the headline says his dream IS to play in the NBA. If his dream growing up was to play in the NBA, but he was two sport and clearly chose NFL (because 359 lbs!), then I agree that is a dumb reason. If he articulated that he still today dreams of playing in the NBA instead of NFL, well then I get the potential hesitation.I wonder if other teams dropped players that said they dreamed to be a firefighter or an astronaut...
