this would have been a good time for a non-elimination leg. i was shocked when it turned out it wasn't.

As soon as it became clear who'd lost I said to my girlfriend "time to pull out the non elimination?" Quite surprised they didn't but they've been accused so many times of rigging the show by using the non elims to keep in popular teams that I'm sure they realized doing it last night would have just fueled the fire.

Too bad though the way they shot it must have been misleading, it seemed Mirna and Shmirna would be easy to outrun so they must have been much further ahead than we saw on camera?

They were definitely my favorite, though I like the beauty queens too. Guido One is going to lend Beauty Queen Two his nail buffer during the pit stop? Classic.

What was up with Uchenna and Joyce high fiving the cousins after they had just been laughing with everyone else at them because of Amber's "lie" anyway? Don't get me wrong, I like Uchenna and Joyce (during their season the woman SHAVED her head to get a fast forward--the toughest thing I ever saw anyone do on the race) but is seemed more twofaced than lying about finding the clue.

Could be I just don’t like the cousins that much, they act like everyone needs to stop racing as they are coming by which is bad enough but they whine while the do it. Out of the rest I want them gone badly. Everyone lese is sort of likeable in their own way; I’m even enjoying Teri and Eye-on this time.

I didn't think it was two faced at all. They made a point of telling Rob it was too much for them to have done that. Then seconds after bragging about what they'd done, Amber is lying right to Charla's face with Uchenna and Joyce standing right behind them. That was more two faced than anything anybody else did. I think it was just playing the game, nothing wrong with that at all, but it was two faced of Amber.

Rob and Amber were arrogoant but I liked them so much more than Oswald & whatever his name and Charla and Mirna.

I'm glad the Beauty Queens, Eric & Danielle and Uchenna & Joyce are still around--everyone else elicits a big yawn from me.

I actually thought Team Guido was at fault in their conflict. Yes they were messing with them but they didn't actually try to pass them we knew for a fact they were just goofing with them.

The interesting thing in this season is how aware all the teams are of their prior "image" on the show. Team Guido openly saying they don't want to be hated this time. Ian clearly toning it down, not yelling at Terry nearly as much. Eric is clearly playing up to the camera with the jokes etc.

One of the downsides of an all star show I guess, instead of them being themselves because they've done this before, some of them are "marketing" themselves.

I don't know. I've thought about how it might be if my sister and I were on the show. (We used to watch it all the time together.) We came to the conclusion that we would probably be seen as the chicks from Jersey who fight and cuss too much.

I think that, if we actually were on the show and that is, indeed, what we saw, we probably wouldn't have liked it much, and would have tried to do better the second time around. Maybe Ian didn't realize he looked like such a jerk the first time around until he saw it on TV.

Yeah and they're like watching a pro bass tournament with all the team Guido clothing line stuff going on.

I don't dislike them I actually liked them more the first time around when they were being themselves. I didn't like when he stood in front of Eric's car this season but they've definitely toned it down.

Mirna and Shmirna are the last team I don't like left, hopefully they'll go soon.

I think they are making fun of themselves with the Team Guido shtick. I think all the teams have toned themselves down to a degree or two.
