But you like Eric and Danielle? They are twice as whiny.

They don't whine incessantly about everything, if anything they(E & D) whine to each other. The way they(Cha Cha) do it has a lot to do with it, their voice, their mannerisms...the stupid quips about their "manicurists", they are playing up the part to me.

Why is it that everytime Mirna and Charla talk to people, they use a stupid accent?!?! It drives me crazy to listen to them try to book tickets or hail a cab or get help from the locals. Annoying as hell!!! :bang:

So how is next week going to work? Since essentially the team that got 8th or whatever is more or less 24 hours behind the first place team..? Do they have to wait that whole period before they can leave?

Yup. Mandatory 12-hour waiting period. Looks like Team Guido is in trouble.

I thought it would have been funny if Mirna and Charla were leaving as Team Guido was checking in, lol.

They seemed to be about 20 hours or so behind so a snafu at the airport could help them out. The funny thing is that it was the same way they went out in their original season. They were getting to a roadblock, I think, as the winners were crossing the finish line. The note in the clue box told them of the win and then never had to jump into the icy waters.

I remember that and I, too, also thought of that last night. I think they might be the only team that never made the finish line or got eliminated. It would be funny if the same thing were to happen to them again this season.

Thank you! It drives me nuts, it's not their real accent, it's not the accent of the country they're in, it just sounds stupid and insulting.

I know it drives me nuts also. I still can't believe that they were one of the most popular teams the original season they were on. I couldn't stand them from day one.

Did you see the preview of the next episode where she is wearing a full set of knights armor. Too funny.

It seems to be really insulting to the locals. Did you catch the cab driver rolling his eyes at her? Too funny.

Yes that was a clear look of what the hell?

First time around I hated Terri and Ian but they were much more tolerable this time around. Maybe it's because I fly fish so I see old guys wearing hats like Ians' all the time?

LOL - I found them more tolerable this time around too, and I don't fly fish. They were both easier on the ears this time and abrasiveness aside they seemed to be more in tune with each other, less Ian issuing orders, so there was little reason to dislike them---I was actually hoping for a second non-elimination round but they never would have regrouped for the "marked" leg they were so far behind.

I think the way Ian treated Terry the first time around, he came off as a total jerk. My guess is that when they watched that season from their living room, Ian got to see what a true ass he was. To his credit he has made an effort and changed some. At least that is how it appears on TV.

Somewhat of a boring episode. They really didn't plan that one well.

Anyone else realize that the last place people came in AT LEAST 12 hours after the first time arrived?

I am pretty sure it ended up that way. Between 14-18 hours behind.

Usually the first place teams leaves 12 hours later...so did Mirna and Charla technically already start the next leg?

What the heck is going on? :)
