I probably graduated 15 or so years ahead of Chike. (I was in the class of 1980.)

And yes, I've probably mentioned this 10-15 times on this board as well.

both mesa high graduates. Think I fall right in the middle of them at 1994

we got a couple others floating around the league too- Robert Holcombe and Tim Rattay, played with both of them- not cardinals though. We nearly drafted Robert in 98, he was picked up by the rams 2 spots before, and we took Corey Chavous instead...

As far as I know, Willard Reaves is the only player from my high school (Coconino) to make it in pro football. He was a star with Winnipeg in the early 1980's.

Brent Bernstein(sp?), DE, went to Deer Valley High
Both schools in Glendale.

Both were on the Cards during the Tobin era, neither for very long.

Not Cardinals but maybe future Cards, Justin Gage Wr. Bears and Justin Smith DE Bengals are from my hometown. I ran into Smith in the bathroom of a local bar here in town right about the time Edge signed with us. I asked him why the Edge would sign with the Cardinals. He Replied " The Weather". Justin Smith is a FA this year, maybe I could convince him to go to the valley.
