Flip it, Prestige/Batman Begins were classic, Dark Knight/Memento/Inception were very good.

I've avoided saying this because of all the love for Nolan here but am I the only one tired of paying to see something that can't be seen? Everytime I watch his movies (even with blu-ray and a 1080p big screen) I feel like I'm at the drive-in. I like his movies but he uses darkness like oxygen.

I think it works for Batman. I wouldn't want a dark Superman movie, though.

agreed, although I really didn't like the orange-brown-black template he used in Batman Begins. I think he struck the perfect chord with the look of The Dark Knight... crisp blues, blacks and greens. loved it.

Also the third of a trilogy--this will be the last Nolan-directed Batman film.
This will also be end of this "continuum" as well. Nolan has stated that if the studios continue the franchise it won't be based on his version.

this is off-topic, but Nolan also said he's changing Superman's theme music... booo!!!!
I love Nolan's stuff and think he's this generations popcorn movie making extraordinare, but you don't tug on Superman's cape and you DON'T CHANGE THE GREATEST SCORE EVER (or at least heroic score ever). That's some hubris on you Nolan. That score better be DISGUSTINGLY good.

How much is he changing the theme? A small tweek is fine as long as you keep the identity of the theme in there.

wholesale changes, just like he did with Batman.
Seriously. Even my 5 year old recognize that score. It's iconic, which could not be more apropos of one of the most iconic characters of all time.

I take it that's not a remake of the Tyrone Power, Maureen O'Hara pirate adventure classic. It's too bad because that's a movie genre that really needs to be re-explored (without Disney).

Everything I have read about this movie has been nothing but positive. I have even read some think she may get an oscar nod for this movie.

Am I the only one who thinks the Hush storyline would make a great movie? I mean, you can leave out the whole Ivy/Superman thing, but Hush would make a great villain. This way you can have an established villain like Catwoman and introduce a new one in Hush. Hush would fit very well in Nolan's universe.
Also, No Man's Land would make a great movie.
