Quit looking stuff up on Google?

I'll read what I want, and have my own opinions...Google and the Internet are a great place to research many things, and to just say it's all crap and wrong is ridiculous Yuma.

May as well toss out all stuff on the net if that's the case.

Well Mike, I am just saying not everything on the net or in print is accurate. I'm just going by what you are writing that you say you found on Google. Some of it is not logical. So, in my humble opinion, I think you are getting mislead from what you are reading.

Look, I am catholic. That doesn't mean I agree 100% with their policys, beliefs, etc. I know as a "good" catholic, I should march in step and not question the church. However, if you look at the church's history, they have changed doctrine on so many things that were thought to be the infallible word of god. So either God was wrong, and thus fallible, or the men and women here on earth that are doing the interpreting of God's word are wrong. I am not trying to change your beliefs. I am just posting in this thread to point out the logic in some of the arguments is faulty.

That's where I think people are getting all steamed up about this. Take the book FWIW. I am certainly not going out and becoming a Dan Brown cultist. I also wouldn't let it worry you either Mike.

I watched it, definitely an OK movie, watchable, a tad long but there is suspense that is built and some decent scenes. Some of the effects were kind of cool but nothing amazing.

I would be more excited about it had I not read the book and new basically everything that was going to happen but it still was an ok movie.

It wasn't quite blockbuster and I think I will be more excited to watch angels and demons when and if that comes out. Overall worth the $6 for the ticket.

The really cool stuff about the book were the details, whether they were true or not, and I don't see how a movie can go that far into detail. Kinda like Shogun was so great but the mini series was dull to me. :(

I just watched it. I’m almost done with the book, but we were up in Flagstaff this weekend and wanted to go see a movie and this one was the only one worthy of paying $16 for.

I don’t think that it did justice to the book. I think they should have found a way to possibly make a trilogy out of the story. 2+ hours was definitely not enough. I think anyone that sees this movie without reading the book will miss out on enough background detail that they will miss far too much background information that is needed for the story.
