THR just posted their five-round draft-machine mock:

1. Von Miller, LB, Texas A&M
2. Ryan Mallett, QB, Arkansas
3. Jason Pinkson, OT, Pittsburgh
4. Rashad Carmichael, CB, VATech
5. Pat Devlin, QB, Delaware

LOL. Looks like THR's draft machine takes need into account somewhat.

That's good stuff, I'm surprised it didn't just list 5 QBs in order. :D

THR has a really accurate Top 200 board ($9.95 a year for access and well worth it if only for the player writeups by Drew Boylhart), and they have Cam Newton in the late 20s, Jake Locker in the mid-30s, and Ryan Mallett at 41.

In their Top 32 they have 7 DEs (!), 5 DTs (!), 5 OTs (!)--and 2 WR :(

Nearly 20 linemen if you include Pouncey in the first round? Wow.

I actually don't hate that.

If you are picking in the top 15 then every position is a need. I don't think Ryan Mallet is going to make it to the Cardinals in the second round.

You bet and I hope you're right as it would be another bs story and a waste of another possible good front seven guy or lineman the team did not take.

I've seen more of Pat Devlin then I'd like to have.
This is the Jaguars' approach to drafting, spaghetti against the wall.

In 2005 the Cards drafted 5 of the HuddleReports top 75 players.
None of them still play for the Cards and I believe all but Rolle are out of the league.

:(
