Very true but those QB's are from a long time ago. The 2 most recent examples are Mahomes and Mayfield.

IMHO there is no doubt if Murray had been in Rosens shoes last season he would have had

IMHO drafting Murray and trading Rosen when there are several top notch defensive talents available is a risk that is foolish when you already have a 1st rd QB talent on the team and just hired a HC who is supposed to be a QB guru.

1st bolded - Fair. He throws a pretty ball. He's got a chance to be good.

2nd bolded - forgive me sir, but with Murray available, I'm ready to move on from JR.

3rd bolded - Without doubt? I disagree. And I disagree generally that Murray would have performed as poorly as Josh. But that's why I'm advocating that we take him BW52. IMHO, I see Murray as the better long-term prospect.

4th bolded - That reasonable. And kind of compelling too. In my opinion, that's your side's best argument.

Krang...I think most Murray supporters are writing off the Alabama games, as it's fairly apparent that Murray finally got it going after Alabama took their foot off the gas.

If Rosen wasn't a Cardinal, none of us would think he is good.

The Patriots want him. I'll trust their talent evaluators over guys on the internet or frankly our own front office.

But that wasn’t discussion we were having, was it? You wanted to say a single season was a disqualifier for Murray. I showed a recent example of why it shouldn’t be. Then you moved to discuss Rosen. You changed subjects.

That said, absolutely a second season of Rosen should provide us more insight and I expect great improvement. But if fans or the cards think Murray is better prospect with more upside, there’s no reason they have to give Rosen a second season. It’s like when josh mcnown showed promise and so we passed on good QBs. If someone thought we still needed a QB they should’ve taken a QB instead of thinking they owed mcnown another season to prove himself.
