I listened to the presser on the Washington pick. He was rated 12th on the Cards board (I assume the 120 board). NFC team called Whis and said they were going to take Washington 2 picks later.

These FO's do share some info. When the Colts took Edge instead of Ricky Williams they said they received a couple of calls saying good pick.

I'm thinking another team called them to congratulate the shrewd move. And if what Whis said is true (which we all know it probably is) then we just jumped over the Niners for the same guy.

The way I read his post it sounded like he was saying a team called and said who they were going to pick before the choice was made not calling AFTER the choice was made. If thats the case...ok.

Well no reason to get angry about it I guess, I just really thought that extra 3rd round pick was valuable. I hope Washington makes a difference on our defense, really soon, because our defense needs all the help they can get and I worry about seeing Paris Lennon starting.

I was on record not wanting to trade up so I understand frustration. I knew I wouldn't be alone on this and wanted to help people get happy as soon as possible.
