I really enjoy the two commentators that have done the Mexican games. Very entertaining, knowledgeable and fair.
I'm pretty sure one of them does the games on ESPN deportes

Australia should have won that game goalie should have stopped the 3rd goal and why would the guy from Australia try to chest a ball in instead of heading it for a sure goal

Chile beats Spain 2-0

Chile and the Netherlands both advance to Knockout stage - winner of their game takes the Group.

Spain and Australia become first countries eliminated

watch out for a battle of the benches in that game to protect injuries. Van Persie can't play anyway due to the two yellows.

Group Winner gets second place from Brazil/Mexico Group.

Group second gets winner of Brazil Mexico Group.

Neth/Chile is before those two teams play. I am sure both want to play Mexico.

Chile should come out playing to win. Been eliminated by Brazil in the round of 16 in the last 2 WC they've played in, not to mention a pretty bad history against them. Brazil hasn't looked very impressive, but it's Brazil and they're at home.

I still can't believe they actually pulled it off.

mexico could win the group which means second place might be where you want to be. I doubt they will risk injuries especially since they won't know whether mexico or Brazil will take the group.

Netherland and Chile play before both mexico and brazil on the same day.

What will be interesting is how Brazil and Mexico will approach their games (which will start at same time) knowing the result of Chile-Netherlands.

I would have to assume both teams would rather play Chile.

Of course, Croatia and Cameroon are not out of it yet

If they draw it will be virtually impossible with GD for either to advance. There needs to be a winner to make it interesting

Cameron has the best shot since they are closest in GD but they would have to win today by a goal to even the GD with mexico then hope mexico draws/loses and you win.

If they are even on points and GD like if say Cameroon and Croatia draw today at 0 then Cameroon would have to win by 2 goals and hope mexico gets shut out since if mexico and Cameroon tie on pts and GD Mexico would advance due to the heads up win.

Everyone good with that popsicle headache lol.

I can't believe any team would like to play Chile.

They won't go out without hard fouls and antics.

Indeed. The Dutch got exposed by Australia today. Should have been more than 2 goals. They're great going foward, but take too many risks.

Chile are damn organised.

They can also fall apart quite quickly. Hot-heads like Medel, Carmona, and Valdivia, and to an extent Vidal can implode at any time. I cringed when Carmona came in today. I've also watched them fall apart in Colombia during qualifiers.

Croatia taking it to Cameroon.

Croatia up 3-0, erasing their GD deficit

So if this holds, Brazil and Mexico will have four points, Croatia 3, Cameroon eliminated.

Brazil should have no problem with Cameroon and end with 7 points.

Mexico would need to NOT lose to Croatia to advance.

Cahill had the goal of the tourney thus far. What a strike from the volley.
