Welcome aboard Passenger.

Don't let anyone belittle your opinions. There are people here that are quick to label any :newbie: with a troll if they don't say what they like to hear. If you are a true Suns fan then your opinions are valued and welcomed.

Seeing as how you are a :newbie: I'll take a plate of shredded beef nacho's with a Bacardi and Coke. Make t quick, I'm in need.

Thanks a lot cardshark, good to see some members with common sence here:)just because of posting a disagreement,we got treated as enemey;)I guess it upsets those who know the truth but doesn't want to face off.

wow this board has just turned mean lately. i realize there are a ton of new trolls (is that all shaq-related? that's amazing), but the vitriol is just unexcusable imo. and this coming from dodie who i think is generally a nice guy.

I really think it's fallout from the Suns/Spurs fiasco. I really believe the integrity of the Suns style has been an open wound since then. The Suns have done nothing to remedy it and it has festered in all of the fans. Until the Suns begin dominating other teams it may only get worse.

you know, for someone who has only been on this board for less than a month you've got a lot of nerve trying to call out other people's fandom. i'm not saying you're 100% wrong, but you come on here trying to tell "new posters" what they can and cannot do . . . who are you to do that? that's why we have mods here.

now i appreciate your fandom, but please, i have to say, you're coming off quite arrogant.

Can't agree more, when you disagree with a topic, call those members another team fans, ignorant, give them arrogant speeches.I think Bee thinks he's born moderator here,he doesn't understand the difference between critic and insult. He thinks he's better Suns fan just because he's in this website before us??I have bought dozens of jersey, tickets etc for me,as gifts for fans and always contributed to team financially.I wish I knew him face to face so we test who knows the Suns history better.

That's fine, Ouchie-Z. I understand your point of view. I thought that you would be more receptive to my views than you would be towards those of somebody who has attempted to concoct some ridiculous backstory about how they've "always" been a diehard fan of the Suns, but chose the day of their worst game of the season to spam up this site with nothing but unfounded criticism of the team.

I think you misread my post to mean that I was comparing the guy to myself, when I was simply pointing out that he is in all likelihood lying about the extent of his own fandom.

edit: He started on post #1 right after the game, and has posted 21 times since. Draw your own conclusions, I guess.

You think Kerr wanted to get rid of KT so badly that he traded two picks away with him? That trade was a result of Sarver demanding KT's salary come off the books by the start of the season and Seattle was basically the only team willing to absorb his salary. Sarver's cheapness is the biggest problem.

What's Kerr or any GM supposed to do when you have no young assets, draft picks, and limited salary flexibility?

I certainly think Sarvers cost cutting methods were the impotence for the trade, but I have a hard time believing a more experienced GM couldn't have figured out a better deal. Perhaps thats the only deal that he could've made, we'll never know, so there's not much point in arguing it.

My point is, Kerr has gone from two jobs totally unrelated to being a GM, to being a GM, I think thats silly. Look at McHale and Isiah Thomas, being a former player doesn't make you good in the front office. I would've rather Kerr been given some sort of VP type job (like the Suns do w/ lots of former players) and work his way up like most everyone else.

If I'm not mistaken, I think Kerr had been somewhat of a consultant for Sarver and the team since taking over an ownership role, so it's not like he was totally out of the loop.

Also, he was/is pretty well regarded as a great basketball mind by a lot of people, so it's not like he's a neophyte to the game or anything like that.

And finally, Griffin is still there along with the rest of the basketball operations staff, and I'm sure they all have a ton of input into the moves the Suns make. I doubt Kerr is making every move unilaterally, or it is just him and Sarver ignoring everyone else and doing whatever they want.

Oh god. You've already tried to play the sympathy card here, and apparently it's worked. Now, as a first-day poster, you're also going to try to dress me down because I've greeted your make-believe stories of die-hard fandom with some degree of credulity? You've got some nerve. I'm not a "born moderator," I'm just not a troll who came in here to talk trash, and is now trying to cover it with 20 "Me too!" posts in the last hour.

Beebeaard, you still keep insulting, you have no tiny effort to understand or listen.Your mindset is "if someone disagrees with me,I ll do all to manipulate, insult,be impolite."You can simply blame me for "lying" because you disagree with my comments?Wow,great judgment and logic you have.

Check my all posts, will you find one word aside from criticism? You think I am not Suns fan because I criticized the trade and the way we re playing since the trade, but you yourself is real fan for insulting the other Suns fans for not agreeing with you.

we would have won it all last year if horry hadn't done that bullshinto .. with that being said i think once our team starts playing well together we'll be a better team.. offensive rebounds hurt alot more than you can imagine..

Exactly, that's what I wrote as well,so playing with Marion we were NBA champions last year if we were not robbed by the nba commissioner.

It was more than just Horry. It was the way the officiating changed in the playoffs. It was a shame because the Suns played a beautiful game the way it was meant to be played. One day Stern will die and the Suns will shine again. :)

And can you believe Stern isolated himself from the match fixing-betting referee scandal?

Is this the last hurrah for the Suns?? I think Jerry Colangelo breaking out and Kerr coming in was the worst. I almost cried when Jerry left.

I just think it's hilarious that for the past 3 years, Steve Kerr has been writing Yahoo! fantasy basketball articles that I read sometimes to grab someone off the waiver wire.......and now he's suddenly in charge of all basketball operations of your Phoenix Suns :p
lol

I think it's funny that the Miami Heat have not won a game in the calendar year 2008, and it's already mid-February.

incorrect, we won on jan 26 vs the pacers. but that's irrelevant to what I said about Steve Kerr and the HEAT are in the wake of the Snaq mess we were left in. We got rebuildin to do.

but my Steve Kerr comment is still hilarious :)
