How's it work if Mexico is one of those four? They're already qualified for it, since they're the host nation. Do only 3 teams (+Mexico) qualify? Hmmm
Edson Buddle? Really? Time machine, anyone? I guess it's cool to have someone from a German league, even a second division team. He does have two goals and one assist in 8 games this year.
Gillette Stadium is planning to host major international exhibition soccer matches in June and July.
Defending World Cup champion Spain has been recruited to meet the United States in early June, before the Gold Cup starts. And Manchester United is slated to begin its summer tour with a match against the Revolution July 14.
Not really, no.Btw Milgod,
CL brace to eliminate Marseille "big" enough for ya?
IMO, Buddle is the best we got. Pathetic? Absolutely. Jozy is so overrated it's unbelievable. We just have to cross our fingers that Aguedelo becomes more than we think he is.

Better than Altidore... and Agudelo is an unknown at this point.
Still no Davies either...

GC preview?
Davies is working himself back healthy. He will probably be a regular starter for DC United before the summer and if he is scoring consistently I expect him to be on the Gold Cup roster. Teal Bunbury would probably have been invited as a forward too but he dislocated his elbow a couple of weeks back and was unavailable -- he'll be an option this summer as well (as will Mwanga who is real close to US citizenship).
Unfortunately not, Holden is out for 6 months after the hack job he suffered against Man U.
I love the sash! I am wearing the blue shirt as I type. I would say it is my favourite ever national team shirt.
