Still Captain Checkdown threw one completion I saw further than 5 yards to the RB (who else?). He got his $$$, I'm sure he is happy, I hope Kevin Kolb becomes a multiple MVP, Pro-Bowl QB and Matt Leinart goes away like Stan Gelbaugh (No disrespect intended to Stan Gelbaugh)

Bah ... if only Gelbaugh actually did just go away .... unfortunately that guy just kept popping up and seattle hired his world league coach as their OC and then sticking to the roster for 4 years ..... he was the bridge from the dan mcgwire/kelly stouffer era to the rick mirer era

ah ... good times

won't go that far

again I had him graded high, and gave him break while others continue to shovel false hoods on him.

the last game I seen him on the field was the Titans, He did his part with no first string snaps, He scored and the D gave up a 99 yard drive to lose the game.

Last preseason He had a 78% completion and a very high passer rating, with Whiz kicking him in the nuts the whole time, constant Blitz and no run game.

for the record I had him graded as a top 10 ON THE CARDINALS, but middle of the NFL in a new system, top 10 after a year of starting.

I didn't see footwork problems I seen him sprint on a roll out as fast as any Large QB ever has and toss accurately, twice.

first game time with the Texans, after lockout against the Jets defense, He did pretty good. but I expected better.

I still think deserves credit for being stupid, Kevin Kolb cost DRC and a 2nd round pick!

I think Andre Johnson and Foster might have made a difference< just a thought.

And Leinart continues to suck LOL Wow forget the OP.

I think Wiz deserves a lot of credit for getting rid of him when he did. If last night wasnt THE reason believing in Matt is a bad idea, then I dont know what to tell you.

He had happy feet in the pocket, no presence, and was Capt Checkdown the ENTIRE game. Throw the ball downfield chump.

Man I am glad we have Kolb. Even THE SMEL is jumping ship!

I watched some of the game. Leinart looked the same - terrible footwork and slow, slow, slow in the pocket (slow release too). Does he still think he's at USC? why hasn't get "gotten it" by now?

Doesn't say much for our favorite team that they got themselves into a situation where they had Leinart and DeWreck Anderson as QB options #1 and #2 does it?

Meh. It was easy for Matty to look like he was doing the leadership thing when his receiver was a trash can and he just had to check into the film/weight rooms. But when he got into anything resembling real action, it was clear he had not progressed while sitting behing Warner.

DA was a risky insurance policy, given his Pro Bowl season.

All that being said, the front office should have listened to the coaches and tried to get Bulger.

We've already had that discussion. Bulger quit. He didn't want to play anymore than Leinart did. Bulger was no solution at all.
