I don't know about that.

It seemed like our team we playing fine. But as it has been since the beginning of the series, we just can't get the biscuit in the basket. They had two goals that should not have been, and we had at least 4 shot that should have gone in.
But that is the way it goes, so I am told. Osgood is just become a wall out on the ice. There is no getting past him.

The 3rd period of the last game was just abysmal. When we were on the power play, they were on the power play. We were being out-muscled, out-hustled, and out-played. When we were under three minutes, our defensemen were still skating backwards like scared little sissies instead of pinching in to try to support.

On the flip side, we're up 2-0 in this one, and looking like we'll win. I think if we do we will force a game 7, and then who knows. C'mon, Malkin. You're playing like warm poop on cold ice. Get in there and get 'er done!

What. A. Hockey. Game. Wow! I felt rather hard-done-by when we were mugged continuously in front of the net, and then Crosby gets called for a high stick, but we withstood the power play. What a save by the Flower! What incredible play by both teams. I just hope both Gonchar and Malone are all right after the intermission, because we desperately need them both, especially since Sykora is slowed through injury.

Great exciting game. Sykora with the game winner. Being a Devils fan I'm glad he scored. Fleury kept Pittsburgh alive with some tough saves.

Did you hear when Sykora told the broadcaster that he was going to score? That was unbelievable!

I saw that and it was unbelievable. It will be interesting to see how game six goes. Detroit was 35 seconds from winning the Cup and now the momentum has swung to Pittsburgh.

Looking forward to the game. I know Osgood has done very well since replacing Hasek earlier but I wonder if Babcock goes with Dominik in game six? Only time will tell.

That would be VERY risky on his part! He caught lightning in the bottle once in the playoffs by replacing Hasek. I don't think he will try it again.

And what a great game - I caught the first period and the three overtimes. Fantastic!

Also, Therien said that he had a hunch about Talbot, too. He normally wouldn't have played him in that situation at the end of the third period, but went with it...and he scored. Psychic Penguins!

I can't get over what an amazing game that was last night. Wow.

WOW!!!
What a great Game and what a great series...I don't know if momentum swings against the Redwings because they are such a good team..But the Pens sure look like they were taking over that 2nd overtime....They looked aggressive, they looked like they were taking it to the Wings....The first overtime made me feel VERY uncomfortable...I thought "well, it looks like the Redwings want it more." And with the "WE WANT THE CUP" chant going, it was getting tense...But they hung in there baby! 2 WINS AWAY!!!!

Oh, and how about Ryan Malone getting his nose busted for the second time in the series (from a slapshot)...and then returning to the game!

This is one example why hockey players are considered the toughest players in sports.

Best hockey game ever, bar none. For me it is. Absolutely unbelievable. We were dead...dead. When they scored the go-ahead, I knew it was done. When they cleared the puck from their zone with 40 seconds left, I knew it was over. When we were getting crushed in the 1st OT, it was over. I'm glad the PENS weren't done, and it wasn't over to them. Incredible!

Stout, props to your boys man. No matter what, I gotta give it up to them for not going out like that the other night. If they win tonight Detroit is in TROUBLE!

Yeah. That sure turned into an exciting series after the first two games were so one-sided.

I'm sad the Penguins lost, but there's no shame in losing to Detroit. That is just an insanely talented, well-disciplined team.

I heard that Game Five had tremendous ratings and hopefully this game did, as well. That is good for the NHL. Can't wait til next season. :)

What can you say? We were outclassed in every phase of the game over the series by Detroit. They're great, but we supposedly have two of the best players in the league. We should have shown much better than we did, but I am proud we got to game 6. No excuses; we should win the Cup next year.

Detroit is not going anywhere. They have a reasonable payroll, are very good, and will get better. I am not a Detroit fan at all, but it is what it is.
