Oh, Carol.
Dude, after they roll through this whole "inside prison is dangerous as outside" and figure out the cure or whatevs for this threat...what I want to see is:
ZOMBIE EVOLUTION!!!
Seriously, they have little effing bungee clips holding up the fence? I'd love to see the zombies start to evolve a tiny bit of intelligence...start fiddling with those things. Maybe as they get hungrier they get more lucid or something...not get really smart and tactical, but enough to take away this safe stuff the survivors have gotten used to.
It happened with Romero's ghouls. One even remembered how to use a gun.
That movie never existed. Never existed! Not because of the evolution bit, but because it was so incredibly awful. And no one can turn left and just drive up the side of Mount Washington. No one!
Not talking about Land of the Dead. Bub in Day of the Dead used a gun.
Oh, I don't think I saw that remake. My bad.
It's not a remake. It's the 3rd installment in the series:
Night of the Living Dead
Dawn of the Dead
Day of the Dead
Oh, and this being Bub:

Daryll gonna be pissed.
*Sigh* Just when I think the season's getting interesting, the stupidity comes back. I can sense the show writers twirling mustaches and congratulating themselves on such a great twist--while in reality, I know I'm only one of many blasting their stupid, idiotic decision. Let--it--go--show--writers! Sheesh!
Are you familiar with the comics? Even though the show hasn't been 100% spot on with the comics, the way things ended last season is not how the governor goes out.

Exactly, the governor needs to fall with the prison. BTW, I think Captain America is the only comic he reads.

No, I haven't missed the Governor at all...but I knew he'd be back at some point. They have to wrap up his storyline.
I hope it doesn't derail the season, considering that it's been quite stellar so far.
Awesome episode so far. It is straight from the book, The Rise of the Governor. I am glad to see them be able t use content from that book. It feels like they are attempting to give us loyal readers of the books and comics a bonus. I love it.
It feels like ruining the story for those of us who haven't. It's poor story telling form too--bad writing. If they wanted to do this, don't give an entire episode of the black hat's back story. Just a giant, boring hiccup from my POV.
Then stop watching. For a show you complain so much about, you sure seem to care too much about it.

Seems to me you're in the minority my friend. The show is more about the characters. This episode was one of the best in the entire series. It almost made you like the Governor seeing the human side of him, the good that's still in him(sorry for the Darth Vader reference). Nice character study to be honest.
