Anyone else find it funny that Daryl cares more about finding Beth than her own sister Maggie? Like when Maggie agreed to go to Washington, did she not even care about finding her sister first? SMH.

That is a great point, I had even forgot that Maggie and Beth were sisters since Maggie seems to have next to zero concern about her.

Great episode though.

I am kinda surprised that they didn't let the whole "tainted meat" play out longer. It seemed a bit pointless to introduce it.

I don't think Maggie and the rest knew that Daryl and Carol were going after the people who took Beth. I think Bob just said they followed some people, right?

I have to agree with you all on the Beth part. However, didn't she already resign to the fact that she thinks that Beth is dead? Maybe I am just imagining it but I thought there was a scene where she said something to that effect. Maybe I am thinking of something else.

Still....I would have said screw you to the Washington thing if it was my sister as well. Even if she thinks she is still alive, maybe she feels the best thing she can do for everyone is to get the cure out there to save people. Also, Maggie seems to be pretty true to her word in character. She promised she would go with them if they all helped. She is keeping that promise which is pretty true to her character.

The other problem I have is why exactly did they need help? Seems to me that Rick pretty much did it all. Yes, they followed Rick in with guns but he took out two and had the drop on the rest. Didn't really seem like he needed the help which made the promise sort of wasted IMO.

Those are all minor gripes though. The show has definitely taken a turn for the better. The pace is better, the episodes have been pretty damn good so far this season and next weeks looks awesome.

By the way...I was never a huge fan of Bob but this last episode and his dialogue gave me more respect for his character.

So good. I love deep end Rick. And the Hunters are gone. I really disliked Gareth and I did not want a whole season of him. I have no idea why this show that has made so many stellar casting decisions cannot cast a decent actor to play a villain.

Hillbilly Liam Neeson as the governor was annoying and so was Gareth. Hopefully a decent antagonist is on the horizon.

More is going to come out. All I can say is that Beth is with The Saviors who's leader is...well let's just say that the Governor is benevolent by comparison.

They needed Abraham because it would have been just Rick. In case something didn't go right and they had a straight up fight, Rick's the only real man in the group with Daryl missing.

Plus hunters would have seen Abraham leaving and that would just leave to another advantage for them.

If they had Daryl then maybe Abraham's help wouldn't have been needed as much.

I actually don't think that Carol is the one who is with Daryl. I think it's Beth, and the group goes to rescue Carol from the people that took Beth originally. Poetic justice how Maggie leaves just hours before her sister shows up.

Rick took them out basically by himself. It's a small church. Not buying they needed his help at all. Pretty weak but still a very good episode. Seems like the "deal" was so they could push another plot point later.

Oh well. Like I said..next week's episode looks bad ass.

I don't think so either. All you have to do is read Daryl's facial expression when Michonne mentions Carol to realize that.

But I don't think its Beth either.....cause if it is, then what's the point in showing Beth waking up and getting slapped by some lady in the next episode?

Walking Dead doesn't do flash backs very often especially a flash back that long.

Who are the saviors?

I think it could be Morgan maybe. We haven't seen him since the opening episode.

No remember we saw Morgan again in season 3 I think it was. The episode (one of my all time favorites) was called Clear.

I'm betting the next episode is all about Beth leading up to the reveal from the last episode.

They're another hostile group not dissimilar than the Woodbury gang. In fact, they're worse. Much worse.
Oh true, do you guys know this from the comics or is this somethin they have already brought up in the show but maybe I missed it?

I hope its not all about Beth...I like it better when they show a little of each group now that its divided in 3 again (Abraham, Glenn etc, Rick, Michonne, etc, Beth/Carol)

And I hope Beth's disappearance is a story that's believable and makes sense, not some ridiculous BS story.

The comics. The cross on the back window of the car is a dead giveaway. Although I'm kind of confused if that is them because they're closer to DC than Atlanta but we shall see.

Yeah, like Chap said, I bet they'll spend the whole episode in her back story. I too hate it when they do that, instead of keeping it all together in chunks, but what can you do?
