Yeah, it was a little hard to see, but that must be it. At first I wondered if it was an Alexandrian who's been killed on top of the wall and they were going to pan up, but I guess it was just undead smushing.

I know there are wooden supports, but I wonder if this is a case where they might be able to douse walkers with a little fuel and light them up without the wall melting. Maybe that would be a way to clear an escape path at least.
I'm guessing we get an episode of Darryl, Abraham and Sasha and then Glenn is sprinkled back in. Once everyone gets to Alexandria that wall has been split open and the place is being overrun

I saw a few comments around the internet about how many people disliked this episode. It was slower than the rest have been but they always have these character episodes where you watch people transform into a position of strength or weakness and dying. I thought it was entertaining and think all hell will break loose over the next three episodes.

I agree the sewer zombies were awesome.

More pregnancy is a route I'm not a fan of but you do have to procreate still or your story will be the final one in the apocalypse.

At the end, that was a crack right? It almost looked like blood too even on a rewatch.

I haven't been a huge fan of this season to be honest. In fact, I would say the show is losing my attention. The only episode I have liked so far is when it focused on Morgan's flashback before he met up with the group in Alexandria.

wha? rick escaping WAS the story. And showing an awesome scene after the fact when we know the outcome just sucks any tension out of it. I mean, I know that Rick is NEVER going to die in the show anyway, but to just go back and show that scene later is a truly weird story-telling decision.

IMO, the writers missed a huge opportunity to have a powerful moment and have walker Glenn meet Maggie at the sewer gate. Imagine him reaching in through the gate to touch her while she loses it. Would have been epic!

I suppose a chance meeting would have been too improbable, but much better than the likely outcome that we will see Glenn still alive.

The sewer walkers were pretty cool, except for the fact that Maggie somehow forgot to kill them.

I agree about all of the plot holes that are forming. Why show Rick surounded if you are just going to gloss over it. I imagine a scene was shot but was left on the cutting room floor. If that was the case then they should have left out the RV scene altogether.

I guess I just have more confidence in the writers than you guys do. I fully expect them to go back and catch up the unresolved events of that day. We'll probably get a full show of Glenn, Rick, and Daryl's group to catch us up with their events.

That's just it... The situation with Rick IS resolved already. Showing us how it got that way after the fact strips any tension away from whatever they're going to show us, so whatever they show I'm gonna be bored by because I already know the outcome e. That's bad writing.

Not how I would have wrote it, but like you mentioned previously, we know Rick is not gonna die anyway. I'm reserving hope that this is going to be an epic 2015 finally.

I have loved this season. Honestly, I wish they had gotten back to Glenn already but I know it's coming. This show week in and week out just exposes how bad FOTWD is.

Season started off so strong and has devolved into complete meh-ness for me.

Whatever, this is probably the best season yet.

Whose voice was it at the end that said "help"?

Was it the blonde man again?

Wasn't that Rick yelling help? I'm assuming the next episode is when we get to see Rick's escape story. We caught up with Daryl and his group, next will be Rick, and then we'll see what happened to Glenn.

Does not make sense to me.

In the scenes with Rick nobody answered his call. If it was Rick then Daryl would certainly answer.

I think it is the blonde man, they took the Bag with the Crossbow and so on and they are a certainty to re-appear.

I thought the Saviors were supposed to be introduced already. With only a couple episodes left....my guess is it's a fake call from them trying to trick Rick and company to come running.

Makes sense if you expect some sort of cliff hanger by the last episode.

There's a rumor that the "help" was Glenn. But more likely it's the guy and girl who stole Daryl's stuff.

That's what I thought too. There is no way that couple is going to keep Daryl's Bow and Bike. I am assuming the two way radio was in one of the bags on the bike. Either way, I knew once they left on the bike, that wasn't going to be the last time we see them.

Problems I had with the last episode:

1. Bad guy gets bit by a walker that was pinned by a rock in an open forest.

2. Living in the zombie apocalypse and not using caution in approaching motionless corpses. That diabetic girl was stupid.

3. The writers trying to create drama with Daryl not being able to get his crossbow out of the bag. Like Daryl can't handle himself w/o his bow.

Overall, some of the actions scenes have been lacking imagination this season. Like when Morgan's mentor got bit and when Maggie struggled with the sewer walker.

We've never seen motionless walker spring into action before either. They don't "play dead."

This was really odd and funny.

I think Darryl baited the dude to walk right into it.

Yeah, that was cheap, IMO. The only way they'd be motionless is if they were totally incapacitated--in which case they wouldn't be able to spring up. What were they covered with, anyway? Are we supposed to think that walkers are put to sleep without oxygen, and only the sweet, sweet smell of "redshirt" characters can wake them?

Anyway, doesn't matter. TWD is an apocalyptic soap opera for me at this point. I must know what happens, and I'll work with them through any muddled scenario to find out :)

A buddy thought it sounded like Glenn. I just listened to it again and it may be the gay recruiter guy, sounds like him.

I hope Darryl kicks his ass and they move on quickly if it is.

Yup

This episode was OK, Darryl made his half awesome. Sasha and Abraham's half bored me to death.

what a freaking joke.

as if the beginning of the episode wasn't awful enough, they then have an act break with someone held up at gunpoint... as if THIS TIME they were REALLY IN TROUBLE!

I mean, that was awful. The entire second half of this season has been.

Just finished, glad to see old faces, tied it in for the chaos to come. The cry for help to Darryl must be in the next episode. Where did the kid go that was following Carl? Episode 8 is going to be nuts. How many weeks do they pause the show after that?

Loved this season so far. Regardless of not feeling like most of the main cast is in trouble, being in that town where any of the towns people can die has kept tension high IMO. Can't wait to see what happens now that the tower fell.
